Plus-Minus Thread | Penguins 7, Canadiens 6

The GDT was locked, nobody had one posted, so figured I'd start it.

Vokoun was better than Price!

Also, it's my b-day tomorrow, so I'm psyched that these guys could pull out a W in my honor!

Ok, ready go!

+(was watching the CBC feed) Game was tied 6-6, last minutes of the 3rd. Camera pans to Shero looking at his phone.

+ We won but still another game that shows Shero needs to make a move. Keep it coming. I said after the losses that we need games like that before the deadline, but even better to get a W from a game that shows our weaknesses.

Brooks Orpik and Tomas Vokoun are awful right now.

Despres was everywhere. He made great passes on the breakout, skated the puck in transition, made good decisions on the point, and played physical in his own end.

Sid and Kunitz may have just saved Bylsma's job.

Actually I would give Bylsma + for this one.

If I saw correctly he made adjustments and separated Letang from Orpik and Letang instantly started playing better

In a game that we score 7 goals, it worries me a little that James Neal didn't get one... For someone we have listed as a sniper, he struggles without Malkin feeding him it would seem.

- Bob Cole and Kelly Hrudey calling #47 "Simon Daypray" for 3 hours.

+ Sidney Crosby.

+ Christopher LeKunitz

+ Brandon Sutter.

+ Simon Despres. PLEASE BENCH TIMJHKSDFJNGKSFNHJLKSRGLKSFRHGKLSRGKL:SJL:SHGJKL:S HLSF

+ Matthew David Cooke.

+ James Neal (Really thought he picked up his game. Maybe being "demoted" to the 2nd line was a wake up call. Really physical and good work along the boards)

+ Beau Bennett - Was physical, won a lot of battles, tough along the boards. Needs to have more confidence in his shot.

BROOKS ORPIK, TYLER KENNEDY, TOMAS VOKOUN:

For all the **** Bylsma was taking for having Cooke with Sutter and Neal, that line looked pretty damn good.

Plus for a guy who is "terrible offensively", Letang is now a point per game and leads all defensemen despite missing 3 games. Sure he's frustrating but that kind of production is, well, great.

Such a weird game but I never got angry and somehow knew the Pens would win it. Price was awful, maybe that was why.

+ 2 points
+ Putting up 7 on a good defensive team
+ Crosby line
+ Cooke
- Giving up 6 to a so-so offensive team
- Vokoun
- Orpik
- TK's stupid penalties
= LeTang - 4 assists (one on PP) and a minus 2? The guy made so many great plays tonight, but man, he's brutal near his own net (as was Orpik).

Eaton was solid, which is good, but I also hope we never have to see him again. It's nice to know he's there, though.

I'd like to see Zatkoff called up and given a start in the next couple weeks.

If there was ever a game endorsed by Shane Endicott, that was it.

Can't pull him every game. His confidence must be 0 already. I have no problems with him not being pulled.
