The Chicago streak is amazing, but let's be serious if they were playing games against Eastern teams + all the travel they wouldn't be on the streak. Not hating , just speculating.

And lol Gomez scored for the Sharks.

A fast, incredibly skilled offensive team getting excellent goaltending vs a fast, physical, defensively aware team with excellent goaltending .. Backed by two passionate fan bases

.. That would be amazing to watch

It definitely would man. Im drooling just thinking about. It would also help the NHL's popularity a bit in the U.S if the blackhawks and bruins do meet up. ratings would be huge

So you don't mind a Hawks-Leafs SCF then.

Nope

I honestly don't know if I could handle the Leafs in the SCF ... I would be so stressed.. My god

... If I can find a girl who can tolerate my complete intensity for the Leafs during a cup run .. I should marry her .. I am a completely different person when I watch the Leafs

That Staal incident was ****ing scary. I can't remember the last time I've seen someone in what appears to be that much pain. It made me cringe. Hoping for the best for him.

How soon do you guys think the Hawks could clinch a playoff spot? They might even do it before the end of the month.

The standings are so close, that doesn't mean much to me

That being said, after the Leafs hit 10 wins, I was hoping to see them get to 15 wins before they get 10 losses .. So a win tomorrow would be excellent .. Then they just have to maintain that margin

Glad the Scabs lost to the Islanders.

I remember the amount of trash that was talked when we lost 7-4 to them early in the season.

Heard Staal wasn't taken to the hospital. Sounds like it missed his eye.

It was the hard impact from the puck. Glad he's okay though, amazing it missed his eye. Although tell players to put on bloody visors.

Anyone else just waiting for the smurfs to come crashing down to earth? I have no idea how they are getting such amazing puck posession when they are so easy to push off the puck. They play Canes/TB/FLA so I suspect them to get beat by the canes and TB at the very least.

Ideally yes .. But I also expected the Sens to have a down year after I thought they over achieved last year .. So now I don't know what to think

I doubt Montreal can keep their current level of play up, Therrien is not that good of a coaching but Bergevin has definitely upgraded the team a bit .. Plus with only 25 games left, I find it would be difficult for them to completely bottom out and miss the playoffs (though I would thoroughly enjoy that)

Perhaps having their #1 defender this year does make a difference?

Markov is a huge reason that team is doing as well as it is. Guy is a brilliant passer and can turn any powerplay into a dangerous one. Hate that the habs are doing so well but glad that Markov is healthy, he is a gem to watch and makes Subban look like a rookie out there.

Subban is so incredibly overrated IMO .. Can't wait for the fans to turn on him for them making him something that he's not

Habs are due for a losing streak. They have done everything in their power to pester Boston and the Leafs and I strongly believe it will come back to bite them. They have also irritated Pittsburgh and they rarely answer the bell for their actions. Yet every time we hit one of their players it is us "taking a run at them/Headhunting".

The refs have been very generous to them lately .. I really hate their whining

I agree, I don't think they can keep this up .. With Boston having all those games in hand, I'm automatically assuming they'll take the division (so I'll take any points we can get against them, even in an OT/SO loss) .. I just want to see the Sens and Habs start faltering a bit
