It was a decent game. Better than some of the crap they put out recently but considering how disjointed the Kings looked and how bad their D was, I don't think it was anything to brag about.

PJ watches the game... just doesn't understand what he's looking at.

Sedins had a great game but that's about it. 2nd line was lucky to get 2 goals and not get scored on with the way they were dominated.

The positives are still the positives, and the negatives are still the negatives. This game changed nothing in my opinion of the state of this team. Lines 2-4 are still shambles. Better Dmen are still not playing up to snuff. The coach is still making the wrong decision (Ballard, sitting back, breakout etc...).

Nothing has changed.

Really impressed with Burrows passing the last stretch of games. That line is scoring some pretty goals lately. Daniel with the snipe tonight too, nice to see.

Sedins, Raymond, and Shneider manned up tonight.

Friedman is basically the only person with an IQ on HNIC at this point (cept Hughson).

Sedins are back to playing as well as they did in 10-11 so they'll carry this team for the rest of the season. Hopefully Gillis figures something out because this won't be enough in the playoffs.

Sedins really played well.

We know they can cycle, but I really liked their physical play, they are starting to throw hits.

Offensively still a 1-line team.

Schneider needs to stay in the net but played well in the 3rd.

Oh i see what your saying, yes we have not played good all year I agree, but with our coaching decisions and current state of our lineup, tonights outcome was incredible in my mind.

Have you watched the rest of our games this season, we had much more jump then we had in recent memory.

Please tell me what game we played better this year? Besides the ducks game. We have played so many bad games a 5-2 canucks win with a re-injured kesler I will safely say was on of our better efforts.

Our line-up still has 4 proven top6 players playing on lines 2 and 3. By that standard, the line-up itself is not "awful". They are playing awful. Their game plan is awful, but the players themselves are not "awful".

There hasn't been a game this year where this team has played up to where they have in the past, nor to the height many think they're capable of. 3 lines continue to get outchanced at ES. That's a problem, win or lose.

Hopefully he can add a second line center. It may be difficult and expensive but that would solve so many of this teams problems. When Kesler comes back he could either anchor another line or play on the wing of the potential center's line. Hey I can dream

Agreed, also thought garrison had a very solid game, but probably nobody will mention it.

I agree with all of that, but the state of our second line i think your really over valuing our current players.

We need a second line threat if we expect to go far. Our 2nd line is a patch job, i maintain we played much better tonight then our line up deserved to be. I was thrilled.

Nah he sucks. Erhoff is better. Why doesn't Garrison play like him?

AV just confirmed that Ballard was a healthy scratch. Thought that Alberts gave them a better chance to win.

Excuse me while I facepalm myself to sleep.

I thought our forwards did a much better job of supporting our D when breaking out offensively. They came all the way back and after a couple of short passes, we were safely out of the D-zone.

Also encouraging to see Garrison play solid defensively. He seems to be the most comfortable on the right-side out of all our left-sided dmen.

I sent patterson a message about asking av about ballards over albert, and patterson actually asked and pushed him, av claimed the defense he chose all deserved to play tonight over him....
