Not sure why Stewart chipped it down low instead of hammering it out with tired teammates. Whatever.

the kick in was just a bad situation. It looks like his knee was hit from behind causing his foot to move forward. But lets be honest. He probably was kicking it in anyways.

No more Elliott, that last goal wasn't on him but this just is not the same team with him back there.

Perron getting mauled today. Missing quite a few trips that take him down.

As good as Schwartz was against Edmonton, he's been that bad today. Simply horrendous. He needs to be MUCH stronger before he can be an effective player consistently.

At 8:59 of the third period in the Blues/Stars game, video review upheld the referee's call on the ice that St Louis forward Adam Cracknell kicked the puck with his left skate into the net. According to Rule 49.2 "A goal cannot be scored by an attacking player who uses a distinct kicking motion to propel the puck into the net." No Goal St Louis.

Not to pile on Elliott but the replay shows he didn't see the (nice) pass across. National broadcasters commented on it. Elliott was going down for a shot when he should have been following the puck across for the upcoming one timer.

Just not playing well. might be an understatement. ugly game all around

Petro making another terrible read?

Sounds about right.

I don't understand how you can call it a panic move. We've had this issue identified for over a year now. We should know who we want/who is available. Get on the phone and get it done. Don't give up core pieces. As it's been said before, we don't need a superstar stud. We need a solid guy like Staal/Gio/Sidenberg etc. Heck Robidas would be great. Someone like that, not OEL or Kulikov.

As opposed to the Hossa and Eberle kicking goals against the Blues?

Alright, there goes Cracknell. Now bring up one of the better Peoria guys; McRae and Grachev.

One softie from Elliott, the team's been worse than Elliott, but I guess we're blaming him?

Wrong thread bud. It's not like they were complaining about it, they were just commenting on how weird of a play it was.

We have been atrocious in various areas of the ice for most of the year. Being blind to that because we are 2 points ahead of 11th in the Conference would be stupid.

Yea, and these two points were dropping is the difference between 4th and 11th. We are not doing well. This should have been a gimme game - that Roy goal deflated the team - no NHL goalie should let that in. Honestly, it might be 50/50 that we even make the playoffs this year.
