You all realize Tyler Kennedy is going to score a goal tonight, right?

Goalies are updated.

I can't edit the line ups anymore, because I didn't save them the right way, so I would have to do all the work again. Sorry guys.

Cooke, Malkin, Neal
Jeffrey, Sutter, Kennedy
Glass, Vitale, Adams

Letang - Orpik
Niskanen - Eaton
Despres - Engelland

Fleury

Why do you think Bennett is scratched if this is the lineup? There was a rumor that he might have had a injury since he played low minutes in the 2nd and 3rd of the last game - could Bennett have a lower body injury?

Yeah, that seems like the lineup tonight.

About Bennett, not sure. Nothing was reported. I would like to think it's injury related because there is no reason for him to be in the press box after he's been playing.

Pretty questionable handling of our assets i will say. I've defended DB all along, but this is baffling. Despres should have never missed a game. He was playing excellent and the team was better with him on it. It shouldn't have taken an injury to get him back into the lineup. Bennett is not quite playing as well as Despres was, but hes starting to get comfortable. Last game he was pretty consistent. That benching is highly questionable. Like many here have mentioned - Kennedy makes the most sense based on his play, following by Jeffrey or Vitale. Heck, even one of the veteran guys could use a rest for a game or two. Certainly someone is banged up by now. Bennett is your long term asset that you want to give preference too.. not guys like Vitale, Jeffrey, or Kennedy. If you aren't playing him, send him back down to the minors. But the press box.. geez.

If it is injury related with BB I wasted a lot of energy this morning getting upset at DB. No, I take that back, it wasn't wasted. I still don't understand his player favorites.

We all know coaches pay favorites and DB likes veterans. Still, does it really hurt to give Glass, Vitale, even Adams or Cooke a night off? I'm not talking about anything based on performance like Kennedy, just a night off every now and then.

Agreed. Mostly Adams who is older or TK (Glass) when performance is the issue. Vitale needs to play IMO.

I officially hate DB. Adams, Kennedy, and Glass are terrible. Any of those 3 could sit over BB. Kennedy is the most useless.

We need to get a Kickstarter to buy a one-way ticket to the Australian Outback for Kennedy.

He'd get eaten by so many spiders.

Despres plays a "real good" game according to Bylsma, and gets healthy-scratched for Mark Eaton? It just makes no sense at this point. I'm not even slamming Bylsma so much as I'm utterly, utterly baffled. Same with Bennett too.

As much as everyone loves to rag on Kennedy lately and no doubt its warranted. Glass is still more useless IMO. He's like a poor man's Craig Adams. Just process that in your head for a second.......ya i know

He makes almost twice what CFA makes, so wouldn't he be a stupidly rich man's Craig Adams?

Not sure where to put this, but apparently Kennedy has been one of the most valuable skaters the last few years??

Haha, no worries. The more buzz we can spin about TK being an elite player the better.

I don't know why, i fully expect Geno goes beast-mode tonight. Hope I'm not wrong

And you know what would it take to scratch Kennedy???

A coaching change!

The only good thing I can think of concerning Tyler Kennedy playing is that it at least keeps up some measure of illusion about his value. If you start healthy scratching the guy you let other gms know he's really not in your plans so getting anything of value for him or packaging him in any kind of deal for a better player becomes much harder.
