Don't think I will, honestly. My grad class is pretty tight amongst each other. Of course, people grow a part, but I'd love to see my grad class again in say 10 years from now.

Nothing is better than that last day where you go: "Holy ****, I can't believe this finally happened." 13 years is a long time. The best part is when I crossed the stage. Finally being done with all that graduation crap was a relief.
I don't want this year to end, and it's starting to set in that there's only a few more months before I'm done altogether.

Yeah, I don't get the whole resentment of former classmates thing that everyone seems to have. Maybe it's because I just graduated last year, but there's still a ton of people I'd love to catch up with. I don't know if I'm just weird or not old enough yet.

Yup. That's what I had. Grade 12 was the best year, but it's also the fastest. Just have a good time and study hard. It only gets harder from here on out for you.

My five-year is next year. It's so weird seeing people you went to school with getting engaged/getting married/having children.

Fun fact: I went to high school with Neil Manning, former Giants defenseman and Greg Fraser (Prince George Cougars, now with the Nanaimo Clippers) was a year below me.

Neil was a big Habs fan and aspired to play for Montréal (and maybe he still does?), and while he hasn't made it to the big leagues, one of his former teammates is living his dream.

Tee-hee.

Unfortunately, you will.
Life gets in the way.
However, you can still be tight with a number of people.
It really depends on the efforts being made to keep in contact.

It has been 10 years out of high school for me, and I still hang out with a couple of my high school friends.
It can be done.
Just do not expect to keep all your friends.

You guys really need to read this.

Canucks should totally do a 10 cent beer night when they play the Blackhawks

Yeah, I'm not putting myself on the pedestal. I'd still be drunk after 6-8 of those, but I'd still have the wherewithal to know the difference between a good and a bad decision.

EDIT: NOT putting myself on the pedestal. That makes me sound more ego-maniacal than I really am.

I don't think even Canucks fans could equal what was described on Wikipedia.

Well maybe.

Unfortunately, pipe dream.
Cleveland struggled with a bad team and poor attendance record during the 70s.
They had to do something like this.
Plus, in 74, 10 cents is probably something like 2 or 3 dollars today.

Canucks sells out every game.
No point of doing this.

Baseball in the 70s:
Pete Rose and the Big Red Machine.
Roberto Clemente tragically passed away in a plane accident.
Hank Aaron became the all-time homerun king.
The American League brought in the DH rule, which caused an explosion in offense.
Kansas City Royals are a good team.
Dock Ellis pitched a no-hitter, while high on acid.
Finally, Reggie Jackson becomes Mr. October.

Good times, good times.
