Funny how Lucic doesn't mind to fight a 3rd/4th liner like Prust ( 5'11 192lbs ) but back down from Laraque ( 6'3 260lbs ) a couple years ago appenrently because he was a 3rd/4th liner and wasn't worth it ...

That's pretty funny.

1) Montreal had Laraque running around on Montreal's top line trying to goad Lucic into a fight. If Lucic had accepted and taken Laraque off the Habs #1 line he would have been benched for 30 games.

2) Outside of the silliness of Montreal putting Laraque on top line to counter Lucic, the next funniest thing is the argument that Laraque was a borderline 3rd liner.

The Montreal butt hurt over Lucic and Chara is truly amusing.

Nice win for Looch. Prust is brave, but he will never win that matchup

Full marks to Prust on this one even though Lucic won. Always liked Prust even when he was on the Rangers.

Of course... I don't think anyone thought Prust would win against Lucic. Prust took a better player than him out of the game for 5 mins.

Maybe it's the other way around.. Maybe Prust wanted to take a two time 60 point scorer in this league out of the game for 5 mins.

Are people watching another video? Prust clearly initiated the fight.

Lucic can't win
if he declined people would complain
Since he accepted he's a spot picker

Well, in defense of Montreal fans. It is difficult to dial 9-1-1 and watch the replay.

Stop generalizing only the stupid ones called 9-1-1 with every large fanbase you have idiots it's only the minority who called 9-1-1.

Show me any other 19 year olds who have taken on Laraque. Perhaps in your dreams before Lucic retires some Hab can actually whip him in a fight, doubt it though.

I agree there. Both the 911 and Dr. Recchi jokes have jumped the shark. We're approaching the two year anniversary this week. All fan bases have extremists.

Lucic wins.

I was hoping for White vs Boychuk rematch or Campbell. Maybe next time.

Tinordi fighted Probert during is first Nhl saison but I think he was 21. However, Probert was way more feared than Laraque

Well, he declined Thornton 3 times last night. What a spot picker.

meh I hate Lucic as much as the next guy, but he's hardly a spot picker. I can't fault the guy for declining to go with the leagues top heavy weight when he was what 20? I think the Bruins have more than there share of "fake tough guys" but Lucic is one of the main reasons they have such team toughness. One bad mother****er IMHO.

Funny how that was a playoff game where Lucic ended up scoring a goal. Do Habs fans have anything other than that? Clear win by Lucic but I would rather Lucic not waste his time with 4th liners.
