Yeah.. that's true.

Man I can't wait til Chara retires.. he's too big and strong for this league. It's ridiculous.

Someone had a video of Subban's apparently Captain-grade behaviour against Horton/Kaberle?

Yeah I saw it, no he didnt break it on Seguin. It was a crosscheck. If you ever played hockey(which I doubt at this point) you know a crosscheck hurts as crap.

Look at it this way:

Chara made an investment for the future there. Don't touch our star player or you're going to pay. If somebody went after Galchenyuk like that it's what I'd want our captain to do.

Only problem is that our captain is the size of a gnat.

One a sidenote... chippy game on both sides. Marchand with the stick in the face, missed calls everywhere. Just a dirty game as it always is when we play Boston. Julien trying to call out PK is hilarious esp when he's got Marchand on his roster.

I'm far from a Bruins fan and I'm far from a CH hater, if you actually read posts instead of just complaining on how soft we are and how big and strong Chara is you would actually see it.

You should change your username to Taylor Segin's #1 fan.

In the end, them trying to intimidate really isn't working since a diminutive Desharnais goes right into the crease to score the GWG, and that's what really interesting about the Canadiens. Opposing fans will appreciate the ''moral victory'', and we'll appreciate the 2 points.

Looking at Julien and Marchand crying to the media really makes me like the Habs more. I don't want this kind of behavior even in defeat.

League was way wrong not to suspend him. Total joke that he got no punishment at all.

I know that Marchand has taken the chance to complain to the press about Subban maybe 3 or 4 times in his short career, usually after losses. I'm happy to dig up links, but his comments last night are par for the course.

I don't think Subban has ever responded in kind. Anyone have press to the contrary?

Why does PK get a tough rap from the media for allegedly yapping on ice, where it can be responded to, but Marchand gets a free pass from the media for complaining off the ice, where it can't? That, to me, seems like a worse offense.

Also, what can we infer about the fundamental character of Marchand and Subban from this contrast?

I love how the "go to" post game talk whenever they play the Habs is calling the whole team divers and whiners. It's always an "embellishment" or the refs help the Habs. But at the end of it, it's always them that look like the big ol babies wearing homer Glasses...

If Milbury finally said it, you know it's gotten pretty bad.

Emelin crosscheck deserved a penalty, it is a dirty play by definition but in todays hockey it's almost a normal play for a D (in front of the net).

Chara overreacted (did he see the full play?). If he was on my team I would accept that reaction. He deserved the 17 min no doubt about it.

Regarding Emelin's face. We all know he can't fight. With his style of play, sometime he'll have to respond (even if the hits are legal). That's the way it works now nowadays (sad but true).

I like how every bruin fan is saying we won because they committed so many turnovers...and give us 0 credit.. well duh.. because we're aggressive on the forecheck and force turnovers..

I know I didn't say he didn't deserve a suspension I'm just saying I don't think the intent was to injure Pacioretty and he has a good track record.
