kadri's playing better than a lot of other highly drafted kids who've been touted as sochi contenders.

Well then Kadri needs to keep his head up. If they are taking runs on frequent shifts then your elbows start coming up by accident.

For Canada?

Getzlaf, Crosby, Toews, Spezza, Stamkos, Staal, Tavares, Duchene, Richards, Bergeron, Benn, ...

There are quite a few Canadian centers with more than 24 games of top notch hockey to chose from.

If you were to select today how many would take Kadri before those guys?

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

I think he's talking about seguin and the nuge. Not saying he belongs on the team, but his current play requires at least equivalent discussion in comparison to those two.

Gotta love seeing Kadri try and hit Lucic.

Once Frattin gets back, that should be our top producing line, even if they don't play the most minutes.

Kadri has been given more minutes lately, tonight he was out there the exact same amount of time as Bozak, althou for less shifts.

We Have Our Franchise Center

He's got the compete level, the skill, the heart to be our number 1 center (Not 1A, Not 1B, not 2, but undisputed 1). Nazem Kadri. The skill was evident last year, the year before, and when he was an 18 year old coming into camp. This is the NHL, being the best player of a team each and every single game save a couple for 25 games isn't a fluke. Being a point per game guy with 11 goals and 14 assists in 25 games isn't a fluke, it's a statistic. Now lets build around the kid.

Maybe we do, but let's have the official enthronement in a year or two after he's been doing it every night or most nights for a longer duration first...

Even in a disappointing loss like tonight Kadri shows you something, this kid is growing into a leader on the team. Took zero guff from the Bruins, they just made him more determined, when they trashed him. So opposite of Kessel, got to like what you see in him.

Instantly you know that opposing teams coaches are talking about Kadri in the dressing rooms, no other explanation for how he's being targeted by opposing teams players. Z.Smith in Ottawa, Boston Bench tonight after he fell.

I love when a player gets special attention like this, you know it's because he's doing something right.

I thought Nazem actually had a weak game in general. He made more mistakes than good things.

That said, it's invaluable when a player doesn't let anything get to him (whether it's the other teams intimidation or his own errors) and keeps bringing energy every shift.

His first two periods were solid but third period not so much. During two periods, his line kept creating chances.
