Personally, I think that's silly, because one of the most entertaining activities to do in the world is to colour, and Kadri doesn't colour, he plays hockey.... And Crayon is spelled with a "C", dammit.
Should Kadri be in the discussion for Hart? I don't think he would win, but he is our MVP for sure. I just saw a note about it in the NHL.com power rankings and wondered what you thought.

The dream, Krayon, Nifty Mittens, Lebanese Breeze (my suggestion) are all better nicknames than what NHL players usually get, which is just a 'y' added to their first/last name. Examples include Bozy, Army, Clarky, Kuly.

You forgot to mention how much you have liked him since he was drafted.

Good point. NHL player nicknames are usually very uncreative. They add a 'y' or 'er' like 'Schenner'. But two good ones are Killer for Gilmour...and a pretty funny one, 'J izz.' for Semin.
Increased Checking is what Nazem can expect soon, wonder if that will open up things for Kessel's line or Grabo's, these 2 guys will need to start pulling their weight, if Nazem's line gets shut down.

Nothing wrong with the simple "y" suffix.
If people started calling Naz "Fatty" I would find it pretty funny
Toronto Maple Leafs: After the Blackhawks at 16, there are two teams tied for second in the category of regulation/OT wins at 13 -- the Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs. With 21 points in 22 games, Nazem Kadri deserves some Hart Trophy consideration, although he's still on the fringe of that discussion.
