I agree. This show is getting there.

Do you mean forced as in
Executive Producer: 'we need more sex.'
Director: 'It really wont fit in this episode.'
EP: 'Well we need it so just put it in there.'

Or forced as in against ones will? Bc the first example, I can see it. Theres just sex scenes for the heck of it but it shows the passion Ragnor has for his woman. And if you meant the other kind, then other posters answered that quite well already.

I wouldn't call that an example of clunky dialogue, I'm sure there's some to be found but the example you're using isn't one. The Earl is saying that to him to goad him about being known only as Ragnors brother. He's questioning it to help make his point, to get Rollo uncomfortable that he's known as Ragnors brother first and Rollo second. I really liked that scene, but was quite happy to see Rollo basically flip the Earl the bird for now.

I like that the dude who played Buliwyf in the 13th warrior is in this. That dude is destined to play kick ass vikings.

Not anymore.

I would like to see Kristofer Hivju (playing Tormund Giantsbane on season 3 GoT) on this show.

Did History Channel stop posting the new episodes online in advance of Sunday, don't see episode five anywhere?

They kind of ruined it with the preview of the next episode. The last scene with his wife basically sums up what happened I think.

Probably the best episode yet. It had the most tension, and I like that it really centered on the Ragnar and Earl conflict.

Also, to the poster that said he's the viking version of Jax Teller... Spot on.

Everything in Game of Thrones is inspired in some way by history. Having people who are obviously based on Vikings doesn't equate to the show "trying painfully hard to give off a vikings vibe."

Did you guys see the finale of the Bible? Having the lead character come back from the dead was totally a rip-off of The Walking Dead.

I don't watch previews, so that I don't see potential spoilers.
