Does anyone know why the Ducks let go of our old pbp guy? I for one liked the way he called the game compared to John Ahlers. Guy was more energetic and called the game smoothly. Id say his voice was similar to that of Randy Hahns of the Sharks.

I could be way wrong on this so someone can correct me if they know....but I think I remember reading a while back that he inherited a lot of money or something like that. So I think he just quit after he ended up with the money. I have no idea if that is true or not, I just think I remember reading something like that.

I don't think that is true. At the time the Ducks did not renew his contract, and in an interview later he said he was given no reason. But he did not walk away on his own.
