Tonight should be a wake up call for the team, good or bad.

This could either be a very good night, or a very very bad one. I don't have a good feeling.

4-3 Chicago, the Ducks have been depressingly awful.

No worries. It's unsustainable.

I hope Chicago underestimates the Ducks again. Or overestimate how awful we've been the last week. They'll probably play hard and beat us though, they have that chip on their shoulder from not having beaten us at all this season so far.

Chicago 3 Anaheim 2.

I just think Chicago is pissed. They're going to give us their best game tonight. Not confident that we can match that right now

Ducks will surprise everyone tonight and get a solid win over the blackhawks to complete the regular season sweep

You think Boudreau is going to demote him to grind it out on the 4th line? Selanne has not been good lately but there's not much Boudreau can do. There's a certain respect level you have for 670 goal scorers and to give Teemu less than 10 minutes a night would go against that.

I do hope he is given a game off at some point though purely for rest. He could still play well at the beginning of the season which is why I'm thinking his poor play is fatigue related more than anything.

I phrased that wrong. I agree with you. I was hoping they'd give him a maintenance day today.

haha what? I didn't like this idea when we actually were winning. Now we're gonna sit a guy who hasn't even played that bad versus the best team in the league...a game where we need a win more than ever? Teemu would lose 100x more morale than any energy he might recover.

Bad idea then, awful idea now.

Front desk girl at 24 hour fitness sees my ducks hat and asks: "didn't the ducks just win?"

Gave her my patented awkward sarcastic smile for 5 seconds and answered..
