pretty much what you said, loved his heart, but he became expendable, plus we may get a 3rd for him, good return

gonna miss u brown, good luck

Komarov does what Brown does and more
I like Brown's speed but he was a little to much north and south and didn't really contribute beyond that. Great to have speed like that on your 4th line though

Good trade. Komarov provides Brown's style of play with more upside and Orr/McLaren/Fraser easily make up for his toughness.

Well now we have room for Frattin.

The addition of McLaren has made Brown redundant.

Well, you know how some women are.

She never gave a passing thought to liking hockey before I met her... I mean, she would go to the local junior C games just to hang out, but didn't care for hockey. But like most women who are new to fandom, she took the the scrappers and the roughnecks.

When Keith Acton was Asst. Coach, we went down to meet+greet the team in Detroit in the dressing room (my uncle grew up friends with Keith), and she almost **** a brick when I brought her over to meet Colton Orr (her favourite) and Brownie (a very close second).

She's in mourning, texting me as we speak. Poor thing.

Dave Nonis says Brown trade partly necessitated by need to free up roster spot. Frazer McLaren performance "definitely a factor" as well.

Sad to hear that Brown is leaving the Leafs. Despite not having any offensive abilities, he always gave us that "motivation" every game.

Good luck in Edmonton Brown! Also going to miss your awesome mustache

Gonna miss him for sure. Great speed and toughness. Could lay big hits and wouldn't back out of any fight.

Now imagine an Orr-Steckel-McLaren line... what speed. God I hope those three are never put together...

Mclaren has some good speed for his size. And with the Frattin coming back, that would mean that Mcclement is sliding into the 4th line center spot, making skeckel a healthy scratch. Honestly i think steckel is gonna get waived or traded for a low pick like brown. And Orr.....well he's just Orr

good return but ultimately I really like Brown and his style/work ethic. This year he hasn't quite been the same, perhaps the injury...

either way, best of luck in oil town

I'll miss ya Brownie. The guy always put out good effort consistently and always tried to get momentum with a nice hit or fight.

Just didn't have the room for him on the team anymore. It's strange how much of a jam we have on our team. Feels like one of the first times we have decent depth.

Anyways, good luck Brown!

This was great return, our scouts will be happy. Morrison has been deadly with 4th rounders.

Of the 7, 4th rounders Mo has had to pick from. 5 are NHL players.

Nilsson
Granberg
Reimer
Frattin
Holzer

have been the result.

Like them odds.

Sad to see him go, but needed a roster spot and a 4th isn't bad. I think we got him for a 5th anyways.
