The Leafs have the same problem as many arenas do with their club seats. They are all corporate owned, so they are either empty, or they have some suits trying to close a business deal who couldn't care less about the game sitting in them. And the most passionate fans are in the nosebleeds or on a long waiting list for season tickets.
"always sold out Air Canada Centre" ...Empty seats around
It's well known the lower bowl at ACC is completely corporate seats and nobody shows up until the end of the first period, then sit on their hands the rest of the game.

I dont think those are club seats behind the nets tho...really interesting to see honestly.
The movement was good, but we couldn't hit the damn net. Only real problem with that one.
At this point I'll take failed execution with the right idea as progress. They didn't waste 35 seconds getting into shooting position only to take a covered shot.

Wait really? The ENTIRE lower bowl? That'd madness.

Missed shots and not cleaning up the garbage. No one down low to do some clean up. Baby steps I suppose. Still in a weird way I feel better with the PP sucking again, means we are playing Devils hockey again.
Power play is a joke. Everytime we have to watch it I miss Oates, and that's pretty bad considering I was happy to see Oates gone.
Part of the problem is we just saw the Oates PP pound the crap out of us last weekend. Of course he's got better PP personnel there than we do here, and 'every' PP has pounded us lately.
