Zaar and Wennberg are playing on the same line in Lake Placid. The 1st Sweden goal against Canada was set up by them pretty nicely.

No, they played on Thursday.
Canada won 7:3. Rychel scored twice, Wennberg and Zaar had an assist each, Dansk and Heatherington didn't play. Here's highlights:

Our guys got some recognition during and after the game:

I have to vote Savard here. He may not actually be the 13th best CBJ prospect at this point, but arguments can be made that he's better than that and arguments can be made that he's worse than that.

So yeah I voted for Savard.

Can't speak for others, but my voting preferences give more weight to NHL time and whether or not I think the player will be able to keep getting it.

In particular, I'm pretty convinced Savard is going to rebound, and I think Reilly needs so much more development before he's viable that I have them in very different positions on my list. I think there's a lot more opportunities for Reilly to not work out at this point than there are for Savard, despite my liking them both.

(then again, I was also convinced Plekhanov was going to be our PP triggerman...)

Well you can take heart in the fact that 15 out of 25 prefer someone other than Savard.

This might be a good explanation of our differences. I weight upside so much higher, I don't care as much for a power play specialist or a 6/7 defenceman. But Savard probably has a higher chance of reaching those roles than Reilly does, and its worth something to the club.

Just guessing:
Chance that the player becomes a top-four defenceman.
Savard: 5%
Reilly: 25%

Chance that the player becomes at least a bottom-pair defenceman.
Savard: 55%
Reilly: 35%

Pretty much. I think being an NHLer counts for a whole heck of a lot more.

(Also, I would rate Savard's chances at top-4 status a tad higher than that, relatively speaking. More like 10% or 15% going by those figures.)

If Reilly keeps developing at his current pace I see him being a Justin Schultz pt 2. Reilly put up better numbers in the BCHL and posted similar stats in his rookie campaign in wisconsin, and also played in the WJC with Jones and others. Whlle he is still a ways away from being able to make an impact I really feel his potential is sky high it he continues to grow and strengthen up.

No wonder people don't vote for him, we were all looking at the guy who plays for Minnesota

Seriously, what is his height and weight now? I've seen 6-0 about 175-180 on the Minnesota & Eliteprospect sites. NHL site has him at 5 10 150.

Is he under contract? Could he be like Schultz in another regard and go the UFA route out of Minnesota?

Edit: Just checked CapGeek, doesn't look like he is signed which makes sense given his playing college.
