This is pretty funny.
Quote:
"I think there was an overreaction, one thing you should all be aware of that was a large part of the problem is that English is not Georges' first language. He was somewhat confused by the language that Nick Diaz was using who often speaks in American street jargon.

"The main thing he heard was Nick Diaz calling him a "mother f**ker", Georges knows what the term is but he took it literally, he thought that Nick meant that he was someone who literally had sex with his mother. He was upset at Nick's language and then when I explained to him afterwards that the word "mother f**ker" can be used in different contexts in the US, it shouldn't be used literally then he kind of just laughed and realized it was a mistake and lost in translation then he calmed down a lot."

Pumped for these ww battles and the preliminary fights.

Looking forward to seeing cote at 170 (crazy that he once fought tito at 205) & the return of Nate.

Main Card:
Welterweight Championship: Georges St. Pierre (c) vs Nick Diaz - 4th rd sub. *rolling the dice on the underdog here, even though I've been a huge gsp fan. *He needs a wake up to bring the aggressive Georges back. *Seeing
Diaz "keep it real" with the new spotlight would be fantastic also!

Welterweight Bout: Carlos Condit vs Johny Hendricks
Welterweight Bout: Jake Ellenberger vs Nate Marquardt*
Middleweight Bout: Nick Ring vs Chris Camozzi
Lightweight Bout: Mike Ricci vs Colin Fletcher*

Preliminary Card:
Welterweight Bout: Patrick Cote vs Bobby Voelker
Featherweight Bout: Antonio Carvalho vs Darren Elkins
Welterweight Bout: Dan Miller vs Jordan Mein #I really hope he pulls it off but this is a tough debut. Luckily he has faced plenty of veterans in his climb.
Lightweight Bout: John Makdessi vs Daron Cruickshank
Welterweight Bout: Rick Story vs Quinn Mulhern
Bantamweight Bout: T.J. Dillashaw vs Issei Tamura*
Bantamweight Bout: George Roop vs Reuban Duran

I feel like I say this every fight, but I'm double-excited or maybe even triple-excited for this card.

Diaz by sub after he takes GSP's back
Hendricks
Ellenberger ... don't really know what to make of Marquardt at 170 yet.
Ring
Ricci
Cote
Elkins
Miller
Makdessi
Story
Dillashaw
Roop

Diaz cuts easily with all that scar tissue he has. If GSP can get on top (and he will) and land some elbows Diaz is gonna look like a tomatoe.

GSP cut easily too so if Diaz land a few you may get your bloodbath.

I can see the fight being bloody but not a war. GSP is going to dominate Diaz wherever the fight goes

It'd be funny if he gets pulled and Hendricks gets the title shot.

Nothing aside from Diaz missing the weight ins would make the UFC cancel the fight at this point imho.

But if anything of the sort happened , oh man....Dana reaction would be apocalyptic

You think GSP accepts on no notice? Or goes the Jon Jones route?

while I think it's just a matter of time before it happens anyways, Diaz would be fired immediately

Big shock Diaz skirted another responsibility. See here's what bothers me. He'll whine and moan about all the money GSP makes, the level of superstardom he's obtained, the sponsorships, endorsements, etc., how all the fans love him, and so on and so forth. Well GSP is willing to do the things necessary to achieve those things, and Diaz is not. All Diaz wants to do is fight. And he has that right, but there's much more to reaching GSP's level of success than just fighting, so don't complain when he's there and you're not.

Nick said hes open to doing endorsements and what not but lets be real..who would want him to endorse their product? "hey mother****er I use this **** its whatever y'know 209 gracie jiu jitsu WHAT!? DON'T BE SCARED HOMIE!"

I'm sure zig zags would be interested in Nick as a spokesman
