I'd rather Chael Sonnen.

I'm not a Diaz fan, but I will say this, his personality does make things more entertaining. The sport needs guys like this. It livens it up a bit. I disagree with a lot of what he has to say, but it's refreshing to at least hear someone not hold anything back.

Also, not to get this thread off topic, but you can see when all the guys were lined up for pics that GSP isn't even a big WW. Anderson would dwarf him.

I've never been into UFC but because of Diaz and the conference I have been close attention to this and looking forward to Saturday. So love him or hate him, his personality is good for the sport.

I wonder if it is insured.
Andre Arlovski must have a different kind of beard then.

weird comment but whatever.
meh... don't like his - Nelson's neither.

I guess its natural and I am certainly not militant about it but I wish everything was equal going into a fight...

either way - I think Condit can split some of those hairs with some accurate striking... enough to get the win anyhow.

Why's it a weird comment?
He was pointing out that beard's don't offer any chin protection at all which is true.

I disagree...

I think a beard that size offers some chin protection...
I don't have anything to base it off... but I am not an mma pundit.

here is the only article I could find on the subject...

Quote:
There has never been a scientific study done on the benefits of having a beard in a MMA fight, but common sense would dictate that adding an extra layer of protection would soften the powerful effects of a punch to one's chin.

you're right though it isn't that weird of a comment...

however

Hendricks beard > Arlovskil beard...

His is usually more closely cropped...

I am referring to the Hendricks, Nelson, Kimbo Slice style Santa beard

The Diaz brother are both punks! They both deserve to have their faces caved in with the crap that comes out of their mouths.

While Nick may not make much sense at least he is audible. Nate mumbles and hardly says anything disrespectful. Unlike his brother

GSP looks good. His gut is definitely flat this time, unlike his in last fight.

Do HNIC's ratings take damage when GSP has a fight?

Ugh, Kings game overlaps with this fight.

Crazy how "skinny" Condit and Diaz are. Probably because they don't juice.
