Main Card:
Welterweight Championship: Georges St. Pierre (c) vs Nick Diaz

3rd Round TKO... yup, I don't think it makes it to Championship rounds. There's gonna be some extra pop in GSP's ground and pound. BJ had a great chin, and his jiu-jitsu game is better than Diaz, and look what happened to him when GSP got on top of him?

Welterweight Bout: Carlos Condit vs Johny Hendricks

Hendricks is a good fighter, but he's also managed to somehow land big power punches early in fights. Condit is too dynamic for that, and has a very solid submission game to keep Hendricks wanting to strike. I give it to Condit by UD, 29-28, as Hendricks wears down in the 2nd and 3rd after winning a decisive 1st.

Welterweight Bout: Jake Ellenberger vs Nate Marquardt

I'm going with Nate the Great here. He clearly didn't give Saffedine the respect he deserved, and he paid for it dearly. He won't make the same mistake twice. I actually think this will be a 2nd round TKO as Marquardt drops him and finishes him off from top position.

Middleweight Bout: Nick Ring vs Chris Camozzi

As good as Ring looked on TUF, he has been a bit exposed as a basic fighter... decent sub game but nothing tremendous, and no real KO power. I think he's a technically superior fighter here, and wins a fairly lackluster 3 round UD.

Lightweight Bout: Mike Ricci vs Colin Fletcher

Colin Fletcher annoys me, and I hope Ricci goes smash on him. That said, I think Ricci will take this one with an early 2nd round TKO as he returns to his natural weight class.

Preliminary Card:

Welterweight Bout: Patrick Cote vs Bobby Voelker

Cote will be victorious here, and I'm calling first round KO. I think he knows the weight cut took a fair bit out of him, and he needs to make this a 1 round fight and just throw those bombs he's known for. I think he connects.

Featherweight Bout: Antonio Carvalho vs Darren Elkins

Very interesting fight. As much as I'm pulling fro Carvalho, I think Elkins has a bit more of a balanced attack. Both are great on the ground, but I think Elkins will mix in his takedowns better and secure top position to attack with subs, resulting in a 29-28 UD.

Welterweight Bout: Dan Miller vs Jordan Mein

I personally think Mein is a bit overrated; never been a huge fan of his, and Miller will expose him tonight. I'm calling Miller, first round sub (either RNC or guilotine)

Lightweight Bout: John Makdessi vs Daron Cruickshank

Have been really impressed with Cruickshank, his striking game is something to watch. Makdessi is no slouch, but I don't think there is a way this fight goes the distance. 2nd round KO.

Welterweight Bout: Rick Story vs Quinn Mulhern

No offence to Quinn Mulhern, but this seems like Story got a can put in front of him to keep him relevant at 170. I think Dana likes the way he fights, so this is his shot. First round TKO via GnP.

Bantamweight Bout: T.J. Dillashaw vs Issei Tamura

Have been impressed with Dillashaw, and not impressed with Tamura the last time I saw him fight. 3 round UD.

Bantamweight Bout: Yves Jabouin vs Johnny Eduardo

Gotta support Canada here. I love Jabouin as an entertaining fighter, though this is about as far as he'll go in the UFC. 2nd round KO.

Bantamweight Bout: George Roop vs Reuban Duran

And the weight class superball that is George Roop comes back to 135. 2nd round KO - he's got the reach and the power, and I don't think Duran will get inside unless he wants to get thai clinched and eat a whole wack of knees in the face.

By fight you mean go Wanderlei Silva beserker style? No because hes never done that. He will frustrate Diaz by not letting Diaz back him into the fence and tee off on him. He will do what GSP does. Use his hands to set up takedowns and throws and turn Diaz into a mess with G'N'P for 5 rounds. Nick could hit a hail mary sub but I think GSP has such a heavy top game that its going to be very hard for him to do it. Condit was able to sweep and hit GSP with elbows and punches from the bottom..Nick's guard will have to be as active in order for him to get back up.

Yeah no one else has Anderson Silva's unbelievable ability to not bleed. 300 punches, not even a bruise. I think he leeches his face before the fight, that's the only explanation I can come up with.

Bj Penn. Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck and Carlos Condut all took the worst beatings of their lives against GSP.

I'd say there is a much better chance of Diaz taking the worst beating of his career than winning this fight.

Yes GSP can be boring and the fight will go 5 rounds but he does absolutely dominate people.

I don't think I've ever seen Dan Henderson bleed either. His face is made of leather.

Yeah, but that's hardly 'tearing someone in two and drinking their insides'. he can definitely cut up someones face with even just one elbow, like he did to condit. definitely doesn't have the hellbows of a guy like Jon Jones though.
