Mile High Trade Deadline Shopping

Yes, I know, Colorado is just 5 points out of a playoff spot. But lets be realistic here, their 8-10-4 record so far does not inspire much confidence. They will certainly need to pick up their game in the next three weeks to avoid being a trade deadline seller. However, if the standings donít significantly change between now and the end of March the following players could be available as UFA Rentals.

Yeah.... I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Avs aren't going to get rid of Hejduk, and if they do, it's not going to be for a third rounder.

Hejduk has a NMC so he's going nowhere.

Milan Hejduk will not be traded, but I'd accept a bag of pucks for Ryan O'Byrne and Chuck Kobasew, you can also include Matt Hunwick, Greg Zanon, and David Jones into that list as well. Heck, I'd give Jones away for free he's that bad, same with Matty Turnover. Who knows, maybe Philadelphia could use one of our bum defenseman? They were seriously banged up on D last season in the playoffs, could be a way to ensure that they have backup in case it happens again

Hejduk will absolutely not be traded. He will finish his career here.

Hejduk doesn't want to play anywhere else, he's going to retire an Av.
