Zanon scratched? Fantastic news.

I might have wanted Bordeleau today. But I dont want to see either Olver or Palushaj scratched so.. Fine by me.

Wow. One of the few times Sacco actually makes a logical line-up decision.

Probably just the exception that proves the rule that Sacco doesn't know what he's doing.

This game is just way too early. I'll accomplish nothing in class.

LOL @ Avs winning this back to back games in Detroit and in Chicago. I don't think they will even get a single point out of this two games combined.

It's Sacco's way of saying that Detroit are softer than microwaved marshmallows.

I am genuinely shocked. Zanon and Bordy both scratched for this one, Palushaj and Elliott draw in.

Let's hope not, let's just hope it's Sacco finally realizing he should've benched either O'Byrne/Zanon a long time ago.

I have one simple question.

Why the hell does this team picks up d-men like Zanon, O'Brien, Hejda etc... if they are going to scratch this players through out the season. All this average d-men they pick up suck in many games and take turns getting scratched.

Why not just keep Elliott and Barrie all season and let them develop in the NHL. It's not like Zanon, O'Brien help this team win many games.

Edit: I guess the problem is that on a good team Zanon, O'Brien, Hejda, O'Byrne, Hunwick, Wilson all would be 5th 6h d-men.

The emergence of Barrie has made these guys healthy scratches more often than they would be.

If Barrie hadnt stepped up, these guys would be in the lineup just because of injuries.

Its never bad to have too many defencemen. They give younger players the necessary time to adjust if need be.

In a shortened season like this, injuries are so prevalent to all teams. You need to have a lot of depth. Now, we have a lot of crappy depth, but depth nonetheless.

You gonna sacrifice your future for a below average team like the Avs who in most nights don't even look like an AHL team?

Not smart on your part.
