Dallas vs Edmonton first round in 1999 was pretty great. Dallas was trailing in the third period in 2 out of the 4 games, and all games were super close (one goal). Last game went to a long OT and it was an awesome series. I'm a Red Wings fans and I'm saying this. Salo actually played super well in the series too.

Being a Sabres fan, I never really gave it much thought, but with them getting swept in the 2nd round, are they the only team in the modern era to sweep the first round and then get swept in the 2nd?

Montreal/Buffalo in 1993. I'm convinced Buffalo wins if Patrick Roy wasn't in net.
