Scott Stenier Appreciation Thread

Truly, there will never be a wrestler quite like Scott Steiner. Let us reminisce the Scott Steiner moments throughout wrestling history, wrestling so many countries, devoid of any sympy.

Steiner has become a joke to the IWC ever since his WWE return, but before that, he was pretty good. Awesome on the mic (minus the mumbling), great look, and really good in the ring up to the late 90s, and even after that, he was still decent enough. If his in-ring ability didn't get so deteriorated before his 2002 WWE return, I am sure he would have been a big star in WWE. I don't know why WWE put him straight into a main event program with HHH. Did no one in the company see his work post WCW up to the WWE return?

His ability seemed to have improved somewhat though in TNA.

What the hell????? At 1:21 of the first video (Steinermania 1), Steiner is wearing women's underwear??? I never noticed that when I first saw that match. How is this not talked about more?

Steiner isn't a joke. Steiner is a gift to promo work in professional wrestling.

Oh, and math teachers.

Funniest thing I ever heard - Petey Williams on AOW podcast describing being with Steiner and how they were taping a promo. Forgot who, but the guy they were cutting a promo against was something about a shooting star to the top or something like that, and Russo's original script had something completely different, but Steiner ended up saying "the only thing getting shot is when I shoot my load in your ass..." And then cut himself off and yelled at Russo "what the **** gay **** is this!?" And Russo explained that it wasnt even in the script

Back in the day Scott Steiner was a terrific wrestler and working, he was quick for his size and speed was awesome. Then he bulked himself up, became the "genetic freak" and had a piss poor attitude.

When I look at him now all I can do is laugh and

He was great until the early 90's when the heavy roiding and injuries took over.

After that he became an occasional soundbyte

Art of wrestling, its Colt Cabana's podcast.

A lot of great stuff on it with different guests.

There's other stories about how Scott met Petey Williams wife for the first time and this was when Petey was all dressed as Scott Steiner and Scott said "you wanna get with the real thing?" to her.

Oh, and math teachers.

Petey Williams' and the interviewer's facial expressions during that promo are priceless.
