Ebs and RNH are both slumping, I think we should split them up.

Look at the Dallas game last week as a perfect example.
I disagree, there so much wrong with this club its easy to get very upset. Especially with the lack of improvement over the last 3 years. We start making the playoffs and you'll see a lot more happy fans, hell you'll see a lot more fans in general. We've lost a lot of posters over the last 3 years. Also the fans who criticize the guys who have valid concerns about the team and saying everything will be all right dont help.

Kruger has yet to reveal his deadliest servant, the one who will lead the Oilers in war. The one they say no living man can kill. The Mike Brown of Handlebar. You've met him before. He fought Smid in Edmonton. He is the lord of the Middleweight, the greatest of the 4th line. Edmonton is his lair.

Amiright?

Yak and Jones could actually make a decent line with a quicker, smarter center.
They will address it Horcoff is back in a week or two.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I agree 100% that things are a **** sandwich right now, but your last statement is one of the big issues around these parts.

It goes both ways...the "optimists" get crapped on just as much as the "pessimists" do. No more, no less.

That's exactly what we need. Hopefully he starts showing his worth tonight by kicking ass first and then taking names later.

As for the lines I'm both amazed and pleased to see Paajarvi still on the Gagner line tonight. Hopefully he can pick up where he left off last game.

Watching Tampa vs Pitts last night, showed me how little hustle we have.
It's actually really sad.

Can't watch most of this game, but hoping that the Oilers can pull out a win here!

Because, seriously, if we can't, there's no real hope for the season.

You shouldn't have to watch another game to figure that out.

Sorry for going off topic here but does anyone know if it is possible to see a reply of this game in Europe? It's not broadcasted where I am so no recording possible.

Well it's pretty bad when we have more points than Tampa and I feel they could wreck us in a best of 7 series.

I'm just going to try to not post much of anything during games. I get too negative. It's always better to wait a while lol.

I would be more positive if I was seeing a gradual progression in play. I'm not even talking about stats. Breaking out of the zone properly, not being hemmed in all game, getting the play carried to us for most of the games.

Systematic progression is what would make me happy. Then you see a silver lining and you know when you couple good system play with the overall progression of the young guys, you will soon start to win and win a lot.

Right now I just don't see anything close to it. We look like a team that was just thrown together off of the street in a lot of cases.

I hope things improve....

OTOH, if we finish this year at 0.500 or over you could also say, "Man, we finished with a decent record and we weren't even that good overall".....

Not so sure with that woeful defense and goaltending. At least we have some semblance of both.

So wait, Jack Michaels posted Hall-RNH-Hemsky, Paajarvi-Gagner-Eberle, then the Oilers twitter posts Hall-RNH-Eberle, Paajarvi-Gagner-Hemsky?

I'm assuming the latter is accurate, gotta say I prefer the former though. RNH and Eberle need some more time off from each other.

after the minni game, I'm actually gonna refuse to watch this game. I've wasted enough time this year watching horrible hockey, and this is guarenteed to be horrible hockey. See ya in Detroit.

In Ralphs pre-game interview he said Hall-RNH-Hemsky, MPS-Gags-Eberle. So im assuming the lines Jack Michaels posted are the ones we are going with.

If Brown is the Witch King, I demand him enter the arena on his Nazgul.

This is a must win. A loss tonight and we're 2 points from 15th in the west. I'm sick of being the laughing stock of the league.
