Yes he has.

Thanks! He's looked sharp in the second, at least.

That should have been a penalty on Marchand, such a late hit.

Then again 55/3 is bad.

good lord, Carlson needs to be taken off the powerplay unit. This is exactly why Mike Green is so important to the caps right now. No confidence from #74 right now, and we dont have time for him to find it.

Maybe kundra back there on pp in 3rd?

The way Thornton talks about "Mr. Erskine" makes me really like him.

Exactly what i said a week ago, dude needs to step up and score some goals aswell. Opens up so many avenues if he could put the puck in the net more.

Carlson's "looked like" their worst Dman on the PK. Terrible at covering the backdoor plays and such. Not as bad at ES though.

(and for the record I think he'd been getting unlucky in some respects, get worse goaltending behind him than most others. But if that's because he's giving up easy chances...)

seriously, this team has no heart - there should have been AT LEAST two Caps all over Marchand for that late cheapshot - did you see how fast that little pipsqueak skated away?
cuz he assumes that, like 99% of NHL Teams, the Caps would actually defend their own players...

except its the Caps

Yup. Even thought I saw one Cap attempt to skate to his defense, then changed his mind. Guess we know how 85 is thought of in the locker room.

Can't believe i'm saying this but i miss Green. Not that he is a dominant force on the ice because he's not but because Carlson sucks so bad on the PP. Say what you want about Green but he is an awesome PP player.

Apparently they are saying Ovechkin slashed Marchand, and whats why he was hurt at the bench.

Despite the goal, Kundratek might be having his worst game of the year. He may need a game in the press box
