Size
The only way this guy is gonna get goals at the AHL or NHL level is if he bangs away infront of the net. Sure he scored a bunch of goals in the QMJHL last year, but that juniors.

He's lacking in skill.

He's not completely void of it, but he's lacking.

He was the smallest player in training camp two years in a row.

That coupled with a limited skill set and I've come to the conclusion that he's not going to be a top 6 player any time soon.

Size and skill dictates he'll be a third liner in the NHL.

That said...a very good third liner. At least in my opinion. I've been a huge fan of Talbot for years.

Seen Talbot play in junior and even with his small stature that doesn't stop him from going in the corners and coming up with the puck most of the time no matter how big the other player is. He's also an intense player and always gives 100% and I have no doubt that he will be playing in the future in the NHL as a 3rd liner at least. What will also help him to play in the NHL is that even if he's a forward he's also very good defensively so that helps when you can use a guy both ways.
