Is Army injured ?

Sorry for the question but I couldn't watch the game tonight and then saw the injury video on YouTube. Is he OK ?

All Therrien has said is it's a lower body injury, no other details so far.

Seemed like his left knee. Knee on Knee contact. Woulden't be surprised if he had a sprained knee or something to keep him out for a couple of weeks

Looked really bad, took a while to get up, couldn't put any pressure on his leg all the way to the locker

Might be out for a while

It depends, the kree area has a lot of nerves so when you get hit on the knee it hurts a whole lot, but often there is no major injury other tahn maybe a bruise? Hopefully it's just banged up and no major ligament damage...he's been playing very well lately.

Army could be a bigger loss than most people think. The playoffs is where the 3rd and 4th lines often make the difference.

That'd be hilarious.

This is in response to us trading Bournival for O'Byrne.

I hate to be happy for an injury, especially a severe one.. but it's the only way he was going to get out of the line-up.

Totally agree. You could see how concerned MT was. He's one of his faves and I think Army plays a good game in his role.

While its frustrating to see 55-26 on the PP, I am at least more assured that they won't allow a SH opportunity.
I don't think Weber is that bad, frankly. When he was doing regular shifts, he was solid but once the coachs last year decided they didn't want him, he stopped having regular shifts and that's understandable that when you don't play much you're gonna make mistakes when they put you back in.

Are you going to quote all the posts that praised Bergeron and that said that it's too bad he's hurt OR did you come here just to find the inevitable post that is really nothing compared to the bruins board ill-wishing of all opponents, mostly Habs, including death as an outcome?

edit: nm, thought you were bruin troll, my bad. Still, I think we're being pretty genuine in not wanting a concussion for Bergeron. It's more a dislike of how they were erupting with glee when Crosby got hurt.

Diaz?

Anyone have any news on Diaz? (not that I want him to rush back).

I really really hope Bourque and Diaz come back and paly at least 3 to 5 games before the playoffs....and I really hope they don't rush back anytime soon since we still have some time before playoffs...

Can't wait to see this:
Gorges-Subban
Markov-Emelin
Bouillon/Drewiske-Diaz
------------- ---------------
Drewiske
Beaulieu
Tinordi
Weber
Kaberle
