Noesen

Have to do something with Hoffman as well (use him). He's not a career AHLer.

lol not even sure why I am responding to this. We are tied for 5th with all these injuries I don't understand how or why we are desperate ? I bet your ex dumped you and called you desperate and now you just throw this word around without knowing its definition.

Maybe not blue chip, but he can sure become a great player. Wasn't he thought to be 2nd round material before his injury (concussion IIRC). He has the potential to be a good player in the top 6, or a good bottom 6 player that can score. Not blue chip but imo relatively safe so long as injuries don't get the better of him.

You might be thinking of Jarrod Maidens. The knock on Stone is that he's not a good skater by NHL standards.

Hard to say anyone other than Lehner is a blue chipper but are you basing this off his draft position or how he has performed since being drafted?

Guys that score like he did in the W (and then lead Team Canada in scoring in the WJC) usually have a decent enough skill set to warrant some attention...despite injuries stalling his development this year in the A he still showed flashes of looking like a pro.

I don't want people expecting him to light things up (or carry Turris - joking!) but like all of our offensive skill players I would expect him to be around the net and try to create...if he gets some opportunities in close I fully expect him to be able to pot a few.

Silfverberg's skating is underrated. He doesn't have the quickest first step, but he's a pretty good skater besides that. Stone looks awkward on the ice, but he's also a big guy. I'm sure he'll be fine.

No it's true.

Should Stone make it as an NHL regular, it would be the quite the coup for the Senators, who selected him in the sixth round of the 2010 draft, 178th overall. At the start of the 2009-10 season, he was rated as a potential Top 50 pick by some scouting organizations, but his status slipped. He suffered a concussion and a thumb injury, playing in only 39 games with Brandon.

I'd like to see Stone with Turris eventually. Take Alfie off that line and maybe some special attention from the opposition. I've kind of wanted to see all of Michalek, Alfredsson and Turris on seperate lines. More ice time for Jimmy O'Brien as well.

I'd like Stone to keep up his ppg pace that he has in the NHL. Is that too much to ask?
