Never really noticed how similar they were.

Isleander's logo fun facts:
The dot of the i in islanders is where the rink is located and they have 4 stripes on the Y/hockey stick to represent their 4 cup wins.

Galchenyuk

This will probably be the same in the 3rd period.

Damn, am I glad that Okposo couldn't get his stick on that puck. Would have been 1-1.

That check on AGally was more dangerous for Isles players on the bench than to AGally.

Therrien recognized that Gionta might not be top 6 anymore and he reduced his icetime/game over the past weeks from ~20 to around 16-18 and he's been much more effective.

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Ryder
Prust-Eller-Gionta
Moen-White-Armstrong

Love the lines.

I know it's 70s as hell but I like that logo. I hope the Brooklyn Islanders don't change their logo (besides expanding Long Island to include Brooklyn) to be trendy, or even worse, directly copy the Nets.

Love the lines.
It is about time for Gionta. Love the lines as well. Thing is....what do you do when Bourque comes back? Unfortunately, Prust goes on the 4th. There are no other options.

Not the best record but he holds his own against the leagues middleweights.

Not going to lie, I'm eating crow on Therrien. He knows how to handle youth.
It's good to see yet the Leafs have a complete different method with Kadri, Carlyle keeps giving him Hell and he produces madly. I guess there's not one method that's better than the other. I tend to like the MT style with young players but somehow the Leafs found a way to make Kadri produce.
