With the climate there can you see anyone having a positive attitude?

Shedden also probably wasn't happy with Stajan taking a shot at the empty net that resulted in an icing and to the tying goal. I would have thought Kwiatkawski would have been a better choice than murphy however.

not to anyone who actually matters. not to shedden or the players or leafs management.

only to people in calgary who wish they had a team to follow.

please explain, how could you possibly know anything about the ahl and the baby leafs?

you got that right. stajan saw someone coming near him out of the corner of his eyes and got rid of the puck in a hurry. cost his team a point.

this is where the team really missed druken.

they doing pretty well considering everyone has a negative attitude. if they all had positive attitudes, this would be a team full of nhl sll stars.

I suppose the good thing about playing in St. John's is that it is an indoor sport.

Much rather have had Stajan in the shootout than a scrub like Murphy, but what are ya gonna do?

Shedden doesn't like Stajan, and unfortunately Matt gave him an excuse to be benched after he missed the open net.

Sounds like discplining Stajan was more important than winning the game.

he hasn't been involved in any recent shootouts. don't you know that? i mean, you do read this board.

it had more to do with his stone hands then his bone head play.

I don't like Shedden and I never did. As I've said before I think the Leafs are succeeding this year more because of better talent than his coaching skills.

By the way, did anyone happen to save the game streaming locally? Is that at all possible? Haven't seen a Bud game this year :-(

Actually his line juggling is what drives me nuts ..

He puts a player like Williams on the top line with Welly and Ling and then it the papers he is quoted as saying that Williams played his best game of the season and would try him there a while and then not even half way through the next game was he mixing everything up again ..

He played Stajan with Ling and Welly earlier in the season and all 3 players had big 4 point games and the very next game Stajan was back on a different line ..

I just do not understand it .. Win or lose .. Success or not he keeps on juggling things up ..

Yesterday was kind of unfair to Colin Murphy .. He didn't play him very much at all game and then he asks him to take the final shot in the shoot out, knowing he needs a goal to tie the game .. If anything he should of let him shoot first and leave Ling and Welly for the end .. Sure it tested the kid but it may have hurt more then it helped with his new teammates and confidence .. IMO
