I just can't believe this. No heart. No drive. Nothing. I've been a fan since I could understand the game (I was born in 1991). I have an awesome hoodie my parents got me for Christmas and I'm having a harder and harder time wearing it out.

I was one of the guys saying MacT wasn't motivating the players. I was one of the guys saying Quinn couldn't get any effort out of the players. I was one of the guys saying Renney didn't motivate the players.
I'm done with that. Obviously 4 coaches in a row tell you there's something else wrong. Management doesn't have any understanding of the concept of "grit" and "compete", and how valuable it is to a professional hockey player. They keep ignoring it for other qualities, and look how that keeps turning out. The only guy with grit and compete is Hall, but what's he supposed to do all by himself?
These guys need to learn to detect a Paajarvi in the making long before he's a 4th liner tweener who won't finish his hits or go near the net. They need to recognize the softness early and dump the soft semi-skilled players onto other unsuspecting teams while the player still has value. Tambo/Lowe are incapable of this. They've proven it. I don't need to elaborate, it's a very well established fact.
Management has to go. You can't argue with the results anymore. There's no hope until there's change.
I hope the home fans stop showing up......empty seats at rexal will be the only motivation to fix this team.....we are 1 game under .500 but they look so bad it is scary....maybe the contract extensions for Hall and Ebs should of been done after this season...could of saved a few bucks by the looks of it

Did you listen to Jason Gregor's interview with Tambellini yesterday? Arrogance through the roof. When a GM is fearing for his job you can sense it. You can feel the desperation. Tambellini knows that he's completely safe.
On the bright side RNH's passing game looked much better tonight, his passes were where they needed to go instead of short/long. Paajarvi with another goal and some chances, Petry with another goal. That's all that I've got.

Man, it physically hurts to watch this team play. Anybody else get a headache by trying to telekinetically induce a 5 on 5 scoring chance? I'm being serious here.
we are so disconnected as a team...our passing is horrendous...why are they not adapting? Throw the friggin puck into the net! the dump and chase hasn't been working at all but they just keep doing it, and keep losing the puck battles. And Holy, are we terrible in getting the puck out of our own zone.
And I knew we would lose in the shootout as I watched Bobrosky prepare for the shootout, he was very focused stretching and mentally zoned in...and then see Dubnyk casually leaning on the boards talking to Danis, and just looked like he didn't really care.

Oilers finish 30th in the league. They fire Quinn and promote Renney.
Oilers finish 30th and 29th. Fire Renney and promote Krueger.
This invariably all falls on the management. We have the worst team in the league for 3 years running yet we keep promoting from within. It makes no sense.
