It wasn't that they couldn't beat them. The Jackets put their work boots on for the second straight contest against the Oilers and proceeded to curb stomp the **** out of them.

I hate to say it as I have said that I dont really think fighting should be a part of the game, but with a complete lack of anything that resembles desire...I really want to see someone go out and punch someone on the opposing team in the F-ing mouth to start next game...it is killing me to watch this lifeless, meaingless hockey...show some spirit and spark...PLEASE.

The crust tonight looked brown and moldy. I don't think its the answer. I don't think it ever was.

This team is good when they use their speed and skills and good puck transtion and chase D's out of the rink which they can do on a focused night.

Meanwhile a smallish Gagner leads the team game in and game out.

Wow...

Mike Brown being mildly pissed to go from Toronto to Edmonton, or whatnot.

I'd be pissed too, Mr. Brown.

Paajarvi has been our best player two games in a row, which is great in one sense, because he is starting to become the player we thought he could be. It's also really bad, because with all due respect to Maggie, he should not be the best player on our team in any game with all the talent ahead of him.

As far as the complaint department, how is it that Petry's decision making and passing get worse each game? I think the only breakout pass he connected on was to Nuge to start the 3rd, and that was on the back of the leg because he was trying to go to Hall. I've never seen so many tape to tape passes to the other team. On a brutal night, he was the worst.

I doubt that. But its not a point to be ignored.
Lowe and MacT are a part of this management team. You would think that if they had any good ideas they would be contributing them.
If any of these guys had a clue this team wouldn't be nearly this bad.

That's why the next GM (and please God may that day come soon) has to be from outside this polluted organization.

Ottawa was missing their #1 D-man, their #1 centre, their #1 winger AND their #1 goalie and could still win games. The Habs went from 15th in the East to competing for first. I understand the re-build concept but this is just ridiculous. How come other teams can do it but we can't?

We need a serious shakeup.

Enough of these kids who won't do what it takes to win, and enough of these veterans who aren't able to do anything right anymore.

I hate to say it, but there are no untouchables for me... If we can get a good piece in return, nobody should be off the table.

I'm not on twitter (probably the only here who isn't ), but I googled #FireTambo and am reading the tweets. Good stuff. I'm also surprised how many women are chiming in. I love it! The ladies are bringing it!

I just did one that sounded catchy.
Hope it doesn't come to this though.

Ottawa is the only team in the East that comprehends the concept of GA.

Thats about it.
