If everyone wants to simply go on with the previous thread, that is fine by me. The mods can just lock this one.

Go Ducks.

I certainly hope that this game isn't a repeat of the last game.

We are rested now.

Some fun statistical facts:

1. We are co-leading the league in PP% with St.Louis. Interesting. So, maybe Bruce does something good. This year we have 2 dangerous PP units instead of 1, that is probably the difference.

2. 5 of NHL top 25 players in +/-, are the Ducks. You can make a line of them.
Cogs - Koivu - Winnik
Souray - Beauchemin

3. We are 3d and Phoenix is 10th in league in scoring. And they shoot average of 3 SOG more per game than we do.

4. Phoenix is 2nd in FO% while we really suck at the and are 26%

For what it's worth - was listening to Dan Patrick on the radio this morning and he said the Ducks were his pick for the Stanley Cup this year (said he picked the Kings last year).

Go Ducks!

I though we had a three day thread? No biggie, I won't be watching. Starting a new job today and I'm unsure how late I'll be working.

Yep Hillers in, expecting him to do a lot better than Fasth did on Saturday.

Good to see McMillan back up, hopefully he plays more like his rookie season; he hasn't had a chance since his early sophomore slump.

So who scores a hatrick next? After Cogs, Palmieri and *****, I'm thinking Emerson Etem.

In last 7 games Bobby have no goals and is -8. Did he played in C most of the time in that span? (Haven`t watched them Ducks much lately)

If so, McMillans call up could do good things for Bobby.

However, i don`t like to see McMillan at C because of his (non existing) faceoff ability.

With as good record we have so far this season, i still want to see some upgrade at center position. We are one of the worst FO teams in the league... again.

Maroon-McMillan-Etem

Interesting. I like it. McMillan has been very good on the defensive side of the puck in Norfolk. Maroon and Etem need someone to help them defensively because they are rookies

Yeah that line has looked horribly on the defensive side of the puck, which has been why Koivu centers it a lot in the third periods I think. What's McMillan's FO percentage in the AHL?

Really really happy to see McMillan back up with the Ducks. Always thought he was a perfect 4th/3rd liner.

They doesn`t count it there. But he is 30something career NHLer so far. I expect him getting better at that by playing whole season in Norfolk as a center (?), but it could be around 40% at best, probably

If Vatanen was in the line-up I would have said he scores three. BB is insane for not unleashing the Vatanen.
