Thorburn could be available. Stuart, is less likely to be available as he wears an A and is our only "tough" defenseman. That being said, I would guess the team could deal him if they felt that the return justified it.

That being said, the above return would not be it.

Well this based on if they are out of it, supposedly tsn was reporting if they are not close by deadline they will be looking for youth for the future.

No thanks. Kristo is one of our best prospects outside the NHL. I do not want to give him up for Stuart.

I don't see us moving Stuart at this time, or this season no matter where we are in the standings come trade deadline.. Thorburn would be available I would think.

Other than for Wheeler, I don't think the 'Peg & Habs do anything together.

I would; our defence is deep now (pity Diaz is hurt) with Tinordi, Thrower & Beaulieau waiting in the wings...we have no need for the Turnover Machine, not to mention he'd cost a small fortune.

Haters gonna hate...

Buff creates WAYYYYY more turnovers than he commits (probably 4 to 1). You should watch him sometime. He's a #1 Dman and it would take a lot to pry him out of Winnipeg.

He played 3 or 4 games on the 3rd/4th line. Looked like he brought some good energy to those lines. Had 2 fights (destroyed Volpatti and his hand in the 2nd one). Seemed like he could fill that role quite effectively. The fact that we got him from waivers is a win in my books.

Stuart is not going anywhere.

He has the most heart on the Jets team.

Seriously, though, I realize Buff turns it over being creative and all that, but he does turn it over...alot...and I'm not stating that he isn't a #1 Dman, just that the Habs have no need for him (and they get enough "creative turnovers" from Subban)

I don't want to trade peluso at all. Absolutely love the guy.

i would not mind packaging stuart and thorburn for an upgrade on Stu.

Thorburn is definitly expendible in my books, i'd trade him for any pick/prospect pretty much.

Only move stu if we get either a) a better dman back, or B)[in a hypothetical world where the rest of our d core is healthy and zach redmond is able to continue playing hockey] for a decent future/prospect d
