I think we'll see this for the Philly game, assuming no other injuries:

Vanek-Hodgson-Pominville
Ott-Ennis-Gerbe
Leino-Grigorenko-Stafford
Foligno-Porter-Flynn

And I'd be fine with that.
Stafford playing with Scott on the fourth line? Come on, man.
I wonder if Stafford and Ott might switch lines to see if the Leino-Grigs-Ott chemistry in training camp is a real thing.

I'm actually excited to see Leino back this weekend. But for now, this game is huge - need to pull out a W.

I love it when ESPN tells me that the NHL should eliminate fighting to increase interest.

I just don't like ESPN and i'm glad I don't have to deal with them in Canada.

I wouldn't count on it, apparently even the F-E-S chemistry last year in 15 games was a farce (One that our GM admittedly banked on going into the season and then proceeded to blame that line not working for the reason of our failure) , any line having chemistry in a shortened training camp means next to nothing.

You don't know until you try it. No reason to completely disregard it out of fear it won't work again.

Dumb, people have loved violence since the dawn of our existence, despite the vocal mother groups out there.

well, I am a little afraid that Enroth is in this game. I don't really understand why he is in the game. Now I know that he hasn't played in a while, but in a season with so many back to back games, he should have played against Carolina because we have a better shot at winning this game. IMO, if you have a "not so good" back up goalie, put them in against a team that you would probably lose to anyways. You will most likely lose anyways, but at least you gave your starter a rest. Also, if the back up gets an adrenaline rush and keeps you in the game and you win, then it's huge for so many reasons. Then you can play Miller in this game tonight against a struggling team and give yourself the advantage .

Also every single time I see Myers on the ice I feel like we are going to let a goal in. He is the weakest physical presence, and when he does rarely make contact with the other team, it's so weak that it is almost like he is doing it just to be seen doing it. I don't know how many more times I can watch a goal go in because of a bad or weak play by Myers, and even worse watch his skate of shame off the ice.

People are mad that Scott is playing tonight because they feel like since Jersey has no goon, buffalo should just keep a regular forward in, but he is playing in place of hecht, so chill...it's not like he is producing anything at all.

I hope enroth can get a win in this game for his confidence......I did not think he would end up like the sabres other crappy back up goalies, but he is looking like it.

Either way, i will watch and hope they win.

On a off topic gesture, Welcome to the division Detroit,Tampa and Florida (next year)

It will be interesting to see how the "central" division in the East plays out next year.

I actually paid money to see Enroth vs Hedberg. :masochist:

FYI Tallinder looks like a surprise scratch. Fayne is out there and it looks like he'll play, so that makes the NJ scratches Barch, Larsson and Tallinder.

Just IMO (and I think there are several glaring problems/solutions) but I think the biggest solution is time. A new young core of skill players is simply going to need a bit more time to develop.

Hodgson (already growing in leaps and bounds this year)
Ennis (still needs to gain more consistency)
Grigorenko (Just starting to show signs of improving)
Myers (see Ennis)
Girgensons (Still think he is going to be a leader and warrior for this team)
etc.

I know its an unsatisfying solution but IMO it is one of the primary things this team needs.

Must suck scratching your 4th overall pick. I'd much rather it be the 12th pick

I would have rather had Miller sit on Tuesday than tonight...this makes us seem like Miller was afraid of getting run by Henrique and the Devils.

To a few uneducated devils fans maybe. But not to those who know why.

(14 straight starts)

I frankly don't care what the ignorant think

Sabres lose 6-0

Henrique and Kovalchuk get fed up by all the bullying by Buffalo and combine for 2 hattricks.

At this point, the only reason why I miss Buffalo's feed is because I want to hear how laughably bad Rayzor is during broadcasts.

Yup, can't stand Razor. If I can get the other team's feed I take it, he's that bad.
