Completely agree. It's home, we have last change, we have to deal with Haley, Bickel, and Asham. That's just too much for Martin to deal with, alone. And we have the last change. It's not like Boulton is going to be matched up against Hagelin.

Asham is hurt. Why the hell is everyone scared of Haley, my god. He would have been irrelevant if Boulton wasn't in the lineup because none of our players HAVE to fight him. Let him take a penalty.

Is Asham back? I thought he has been out for a while with an injury.
Ullstrom had started off really well.. He started to struggle and cappy started to bench him . I would love for him to snap back to what he was during our early streak which was awesome. I just don't agree with him sitting cause either he'd eventually have a break out and is better out there than boulton or send him to Bridgeport and let him stack up minutes.. Sitting so frequently doesn't help him.
But I agree he hasn't been the same.
He's getting no ice time, Marty Reasoner is getting more time, which is a joke.

Nobody is "scared" of Haley.
The point is you have someone to counter act a guy that might try to take liberties with your players. Nobody has to fight him, but it's better to have someone who can and not hurt the the team by sitting in the box for 5 minutes.

Not for nothing but I doubt Haley fights Boulton at all UNLESS he is forced to do so. Haley is not in boult ons class and if he had a choice he would go with Martin. He knows Marty and has beat him in the past. Boulton will have to force the issue if it comes to that. Haley knows his limits and isn't Stupid. Boulton is there as a deterrent but again Haley isn't dumb and will try his best to avoid him at all costs.

its like he purposefully pushed ullstrom in the gutter. First: take away his confidence by sitting him. Now he really isnt playing that great, but i am sure playing with grabner and reasoner isnt helping.
ullstrom should be with casey instead of mcdonald.
kinda feels a LOT like how the isles handled Tambellini. Not comparing the two players, just how they were handled, in the lineup, scratched, 4th line, scratched, sent down...its a bit puzzling.
I really like Mcdonalds game. He was very noticable on Tuesday against the Habs.

I agree. It is great seeing the isles sticking close to the 7th and 8th seeds.
Our being able to focus on a potential playoff seed, instead of the draft lottery.

couple things you off on...I was at the rink when Haley and Martin fought 5plus yrs ago in jr. Marts was
a rook. The fight was 20 sec. Marts hit em with a check.Haley grabbed him ..Marts landed one then they wrestled...fell with marts on top..
Next...You say Haley isn't stupid enough to fight Bolts...disagree haley would fight his mother to get a chance to stick with NY.
Both these players I have watched live play since they broke in...Haley is tough but more spazzy
Martin a gentleman fighter..yet have seen him go COO_COO, it takes a lot ..when he does it takes more than a few to pry him off ya.
Difference between the two is simple, haley being small has always had to fight mad, Martin only fights mad sparingly he has many tools fighting, he finds no need to flat out hurt anyone. He was also a Captain of the Sting..Kid uses his melon.
I was a 4 time gold glove winner...but if my wife caught me with a good one I may get knocked down, in other words we all can catch one.
Haley can be tough to fight he seat belts ya burying his head in your chest, then starts wind milling..large guys arms have a tough time..only thing they can do is hit em in the back of the head.
Enforcer..Marts is a pretty rounded hockey player, he fights cause he can but likes to defend..its in his nature,second he can hit, why? once again he can..he can also hurt you bad..he doesn't cause he is a gentleman hitter..he does not wish to injure but will plant you in the seats if he can..lastly he is a goal scorer..the opportunity does not rise often the way he is played..hell you can even get rusty..but he can score..not so much with fancy dan stick handling but rather in the paint, hard work move me goals. He also can tip pucks well.

I can't believe I'm going to miss the 1st period. I haven't been this jacked up for a game in a while. I'm usually lighthearted when it comes to Isles games because of expectations but right now I have the Eye of the Jew...eer Tiger.
