So one game where they decide to go with 7 Dmen instead of 12 forwards and a game where they had no choice now makes Brookbank at forward an experiment?

Go Hawks.
Oh, they are, lol. But thanks, man. This is a thrilling ride, and I consider myself very, very lucky that it's my team doing it.

The Kane for Miller trade proposals were at an all time high. Bowman being fired, Q and the staff getting canned, Andrew Brunette was the poster child for what our core would become. Decrepit old men.

Good finish, tonight. Love watching the hawks win this one. Seems a few on the main boards are wearing the tinfoil hats a little tight tonight.

Wasn't it in February of the Cup year that that team was hopeless?

As a Cubs fan I was able to coast through baseball season with no expectations.

Yeah, it's one thing to think there were bad calls, it's another to think there's some kind of conspiracy. It amazes me how ridiculous some sports fans are.

Bolland also hauled a guy down with roughly two minutes left right in front of the ref. He got away with 2 blatant penalties in key situations. With that said I thought Bolland and Sharp (until he left with the injury) were two of our most effective players out there. Leddy was also superb.

So assuming Hossa isn't serious and Frolik is ready for Friday, what do the lines look like?

Hossa/Toews/Saad
Stalberg/Bolland/Kane
Bickell/Kruger/Frolik
???/Mayers/???

Who plays the 4th line with Sharp and Shaw out? Bring back Bollig?

The worst part about this is that Colorado has 2nd change and can exploit that line on their home ice... looks to be the only weakness right now.

I wouldn't call the Sox season a choke job. They just weren't a very good team and they played out of their minds for a while so people got excited. I think of it more like regressing to the mean.

Again....this was tried a couple games ago and there were injuries. Against Detroit. It is not a ****ing one time thing. Are you thick or sumthin?!

Shaw doesn't sound bad so he should be back.

In their defense the guy's stick was chopped right out of his hands within feet of the puck. They go from getting a 5 on 3 to giving up a goal. Given how bad our spacing and responsibility in our own zone was for most of the night, they likely would have scored. That's a (probable) 2 goal swing right there.

Actually went to the game tonight, second one I've been to in two years since I gave up my season tickets. Very fun.

Maybe a bit, at least until Toews tied it up.
