not if you're actually using athleticism as the gauge.

Yeah Im feeling the same way. Still like Carcillo somewhat. But he lost his spot with the injury. And it worked out great for us..
I don't watch Rockford ever. But heard Morin is having a good year. Seems like that guy will never make it at this point. Wasn't he a top prospect that draft year?? Keep forgetting how young these guys are-

Yeah, because breaking multiple world records in swimming doesn't involve athleticism at all.

This winning streak and with the injury list growing this could be a good time for some experimenting (not that Q needs any prompting to juggle lines). Even if Shaw doesn’t miss a game I’d like see this line for a stint:

29 – 19 – 25

Nothing permanent mind you ….. VS and BB have some chemistry and if Q can get BB to buy in to his being an enforcer if ops target Toews, it just may work. If it does, keep that line in mind to play against the more physical teams.

I agree. I like Stalberg with Toews; also like 3rd liners with Toews as he can really carry a line. Personally though, and not that I don't like your line because I do, but I would prefer:

Saad-Toews-Stalberg

This line played the whole game in the preseason game last year against the Caps that you could only see if you were at the UC and let me tell you, they were absolutely dominant. I have wanted to see it get a chance again. Vik had 2 goals, Saad had 1, IIRC.

Saad has some chemistry with 19. I would not want to change that at all.

Not trying to call anyone out because I've been seeing this more lately, but when you want to embed YT videos in your posts, use the [YT] tags, and then only the part of the link that comes after "v="

So for example, a link like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdVn42-vOt8 then what you want to put between the [YT] tags is xdVn42-vOt8

Q has moved Saad around lately and he'll be fine wherever he plays, imo. But we can't afford to have the ops targetting Toews. Carcillo is an option, but he's not a heavyweight. Bickell certainly is, and Hawks would be smart to sell that role to him.

I always took it to the drink (Beer w/ an Irish Whisky shot - ala Boilermaker). In either case - as much of a loose cannon as Carcillo was - it was really appropriate in either case.

It's also a horrifying weapon of terror that has destroyed untold lives around the world.

But I can live with hearing it if it means he's scoring GWG

okay PC police.

Better stop calling Toews "tazer" too, those have killed tens of people around the world and injured hundreds of thousands more.

Stalberg-Toews-Saad had some mad chemistry in training camp before last season. I wouldnt mind seeing it again.

It's not exactly police work to make a polite suggestion. I'm more of a "PC Unenforceable Suggestion" on this case.

I think Carcillo should have a new nickname: C13. Like C4, it's like dynamite. PC enough for ya?

Multiple forms of swimming in calm water is more specialized than running up and down a highly-polished hardwood floor bouncing a specific size of artificially-inflated leather ball in high-tech shoes made specifically for that surface that assist you with jumping up to a basket suspended 10 feet in the air.

Constant, full-body coordination is what swimming is all about.

The other two are arbitrary. If they're that important, then hockey players don't qualify as athletic.

again, skating is a specialized task. swimming and skating don't translate at all when not in/on water. running and jumping do.
