Would be great if we played like we did in the second all the time.

We never seem to make our losses interesting like other teams, we just flat out lose

It makes no sense to leave the goalie in with <3 minutes left, an offensive zone faceoff, and your #1 line coming out.

How is the PP this terrible? These same players have stretches of absolute dominance 5 on 5. I realize playing against a PK unit that can ice the puck freely is different from a normal game situation, but how can they be this inept?

Skinner takes a stupid penalty in frustration? I'm shocked.

Took skinner three tries to get called before success. Gotta give him credit for determination, he was taking one no matter what.

*sigh* another result of the lack of leadership being shown by our captain. Is there any surprise that there's a lack of maturity on the ice when the captain has consistently shown none? You can't whine and mouth off to the refs and expect your team to be more mature than their captain

Guess you can't win them all, but coming off that second period I expected more.

On home ice, yes...but the Habs look better conditioned. E. Staal at the 2nd break interview could barely catch his breath.

When you come down to it, the only person on the team who sticks up for Skinner is Skinner.

This team should be freakin' ashamed that a young finesse player with concussion issues had to fight THAT many battles tonight.

I don't drink KoolAid....I'm telling you what I saw. Got out hustled in the 1st and 3rd. Cary Price took care of the rest.

Yeah, can't expect to win games when you only show up for 20 minutes.

And Peters has got to be better for us to win games. First two goals were terrible.

In non-Canes news, Subban has gotten really dirty. Behind the play all night, nothing but chops, spears and interference.

They think too much on the PP? Tripp says Kirk wants them running set plays on the PP.. it's not working.

This is a case where a full season would help. Ordinarily, after this many games, we'd be preaching patience.

I wouldn't argue the global point you're making, I absolutely agree. Still, we were making a go of it and he just loses it there at the worst time. He threw down Eller in the corner, then played whack a moe in the slot. Two handers. If it had been sometime before and he was already out of the equation so the rest of the team could focus-fine.

Horrible time to throw a hissy. Regardless of whether or not you can justify his frustration.
