Haha pathetic giveaways resulting in PK's and most likely goals.

Only positive for us all game was those big kills. That matches our 5 on 3 in my books. Only down a goal, c'mon guys.

Why are their guys moving and shifting around on a PP? I didn't think that was allowed.

Bolts best period, the 3rd, coming up.

Now, if the Bolts can get themselves to think they are down by 3 or 4, they should score a ton here.

Anyone else sick of waiting on the real Stamkos and Purcell to show the **** up?

Winnable game proving to be a serious problem tonight.
A loss tonight and we are in a world of hurt.

Where's Nate and Crombeen when you need them?

I only watched the 2nd period, but that 5 on 3 was brutal.

It's interesting to see the difference in 5-on-3 PPs.

TB's was very low while WPG had their forwards low and their defensemen nearer the blueline.

The passing may not be as quick for WPG, but it may be easier to get the PK team moving around because they have to make decisions and all the skating tires them out.

Purcell is broken and should be shipped out ASAP. I hate to say it, but dude plays like a born loser. His buttery soft, skate just hard enough to arrive at the puck half a second too late to avoid the check style is rubbing off on others.

Well, at the very least, Montreal is giving division leader Carolina all they can handle....the Habs just scored a goal to put them up 4-2 over the Canes with 11 min to go in the third.

But you are right, Bolts, Jets, tied for points behind Carolina...TB needs these two points badly.

Notably Stamkos, though he's always avoided contact and often gives the puck away in fear of getting hit.

Props to Stamkos on that backcheck though. Probably saved a goal.

That's why we cannot keep the puck in the O zone and wind up retrieving the puck from our end for half of our pp's

Stamkos is having a bit of an off night, but let's see what happens in the third...he may come to life all of a sudden.

He is one of those players that teams think they have under control, then he just blows up on the scoreboard.

Purcell? Not sure what to make of him.
He was outstanding last year, Bolts gave him a contract based on that, now he is looking well below average these days.

Hasn't got a point since St.Louis and Conacher stopped playing with him two games ago. Stuck with Purcell and now a rusty Malone.

Winnipeg coach during intermission: "If they start pressuring us, someone jump on the ice from the bench and force a too many men on ice penalty. They can't score on the power play."
