The wind up for that shot probably took 4 seconds

He does have a slow delivery and as shown in the pictures is incredibly in-accurate at times.

Frk and Sproul are more accurate with their big shots. Guessing Tatar a Pulkkinen will break a bunch of glass with their penchant to blow shots high and wide.

You clearly haven't seen Pulkkinen play lately have you? It's not nearly as slow anymore.

He has improved it, but it is still far from a quick release. I guess the encouraging part is with the improvement you can see it still getting quicker from here on out, although he is unlikely to be challenged at the AHL level, so it will be an NHL problem when he does get there and that is where the adjustment will have to happen.

I'm watching him play right now in the playoffs, it's not slow in any notable way.

Jokerit lost game 4 in Rauma 1-2 and now face elimination at home in game 5. Pulkkinen was finally put on the first pp unit (at least in the 3rd period) and began looking like a semi-decent pp. Filppula also took Tyrväinen's place centering Pulkkinen and Hardt.

Wow, weren't they heavy favorites?

What are the chances of Pulu coming over to GR if Jokerit is eliminated?

During regular season games without Erik Karlsson, Jokerit had ~1.5 points per game average. Looks like their regular season win is a pure bubble based on Karlsson's effort. It won't be any kind of surprise that they are on the same level with another 7-10 place team where their points percentage without Karlsson would have put them in the standings.

Does Pulkkinen have any shot at the Finnish WC team?

If not I would assume he will be in Grand Rapids immediately.

I'm not sure on % but they did struggle after EK left, especially pp. But they are not this bad.

I think he could get a look. Doubt he makes it though.

Exactly. They were 1,63 ppg without Karlsson which would have made them #5 in the regular season. They are facing Lukko who were 10th with a 1.43 ppg, they should not be in this big trouble. Main reason is their top players failing to perform; goalie and the top line(+pp).

He could get an invite to the camp but it's hard to see a similar situation as with Järnkrok where he has to go back because of the national team. He's not even close to as likely to make it as Järnkrok.

Injuries are a bigger factor. Primarily the absence of Ben Eaves which has meant Jokerit have not a had a good second line whole season or a second pp unit.

It's not like w're getting much NHL players and the KHL players are question mark re: health or motivation. If Jokerit lose on Wednesday, I can see him getting a call up to next week's Denmark games.

Pulkkinen's release is still slow and Frk's shot is still inaccurate. Get over it, fellas

Lol Sproul don't ever change.

Nedolmel's Swift Current won in OT, Nedolmel with nada.
