Ottawa Looking to Add Muscle
Mentioned during tonight's TOR-BOS intermission is that after last night's concussioning of Dziurzynski, Ottawa is now looking to add some muscle.

And Darren Dreger confirmed it will NOT be Georges Laraque (Whom, it should be mentioned, is attempting a comeback for next season.

Phew!! I was worried there for a second..

As for the rumour.. Not sure what I make of it.. and who exactly we'd be looking for.

Awesome news

Dzyurzignsgnzinzgky is big but shouldn't be fighting heavyweights, and I'm not sure if I want Neil fighting them either considering how valuable he is on the ice and his age.

Hope we look at waivers before making a trade ala Toronto with McLaren, Vancouver with Sestito.

People i'd be ok with acquiring but no idea what their availability is:

Brandon Prust (no chance in hell he's traded but hey!)

George Parros
Deryk Engelland
Derek Dorsett

Im sure there's others but not sure we want fighters or people who would actually be somewhat useful along with the toughness lol

If they go the enforcer route I expect that they will bring back Jeremy Yablonski. He was being considered for the enforcer job before Carkner made the team. Also the Senators assistant GM Tim Murray was a big fan of his and was an advocate of giving him a shot.

No they won't. Maybe you met him at a bar sometime and you thought he was really cool, but that doesn't change that this idea is completely random and is far from ''expected''

Matt Kassian? He can play some hockey (although don't expect too much) and he's a great fighter and seems like a great guy, too.

I wouldn't want to get rid of him but he belongs in the big league, not in the AHL. Will probably be cheap, too, since he got through waivers some weeks ago.

Ok, calm down, I was just speculating. The only enforcers that are still free agents are those that were signed in the KHL. The KHL season is over so Jeremy Yablonski or Trevor Gillies would be the best options.
