The team should be more confident after getting that long overdue (road) win.

I'm optimistic about this one.

I can't see us losing this game, also expect Labrie to fight Thornburn for what he did last game.

I don't care how many the Jets score, as long as the Lightning score more.

Someone noted weird stat on the main board.. Tampa hasn't won a single game if they have scored under 4 goals..

So outscore the ****ers seems to be the way to go this season.

It's winnable. Will they win? Probably not.

Would think the coaching staff would realize their system needs an overhaul and quickly

I disagree.

I think the system is fine, although the problems lie in how it's being executed, which could be argued is partially on the coaches for not preparing them well enough. If they're not already coaching to their strengths, I don't think I'd like the alternative.

In the longer term, changing the system drastically now just screws up the team this year and possibly next.

If I remember correctly he was on #1 line, not sure where he will be when he returns which I thought would of been already..

Would be nice to get a win streak going. They need it in the worst way.

Everything between 1st and 3rd is possible.
But my perfect lines right now would look like this (with Malone):

Conacher/Stamkos/Purcell
Killorn/Lecavalier/St.Louis
Malone/Pyatt/Palat
Crombeen/Thompson/Labrie

But most likely Palat will return to Syracuse, when Pouliot is healthy.

It's up to Palat actually. I think he can push into the lineup, he's playing much better than Pursell, then again, who isn't?

Karlsson? He played 0 minutes the last 10 games or so

Thanks. I just picked him up in my pool...but I'd rather it be...

Malone/Stamkos/Purcell
Concacher/Lec/St.

I think the Jets will be looking for revenge after we trounced them last game, so I think it will be a tight, hard-hitting defensive battle.

I REALLY hope we can start stringing together some complete efforts and that this team can prove to me that my lack of confidence in them is misplaced.

We need this win. 2 more points. I don't care about how we play, as long as we put more pucks in the net than the jets I am happy.

Assuming Malone is in, then expect Adam Hall to be scratched, which means Palat and Labrie would stay in the lineup

Boucher hedged but Ryan Malone says he's in tonight vs Jets after missing 13 games with lower body injury. If so, Hall is scratched.
https://twitter.com/LightningTimes

So either Hall is injured or Boucher is seeing something bad in his game that I don't.

Palat has been our best forward the last two games. He has made a lot of smart plays, he hustles consistently, and creates scoring chances.
