Blues @ Coyotes 8 Central

Takes place in Arizona, there will be 12 forwards on each team, 6 defensemen on each team, and a goalie on each end. Allen is in.

This is the enthusiastic GDT, inspired by the Blues play.

Hopefully we can get a win tonight, but I doubt it. Go Blues!

We are going to have a 5-1 lead going into the 3rd...take a guess at how it's going to end.

I'm tired of trying to be optimistic. I know they are playing through injuries and confidence issues, but it's time for them to prove it to themselves. I will root for them all the way, just praying to any and all hockey gods we win.

...please?

Well, there have been quite a few terrible losses this season that I expected the Blues to come out flying the next game, and it hasn't happened yet. I'm still hoping for a dominating 60 minute performance, but I wouldn't be shocked if we got stomped on honestly.

I will toss my TV out my 2nd floor window, if we have another meltdown in 3rd period, while being up 4-2.. :/

Maybe a half assed GDT will get this team back on track.

Not all that excited for tonight, but I do have an odd feeling they'll pull it together tonight. The Coyotes aren't as good as the Kings.

Anyone else want to see if Cole and Shattenrkirk can rekindle some magic?

Hockey Gods, enable the Blues to play 60 minutes tonight. A game that is dominated by the Blues. I'm not sure how much lower they can go, but I sure would be bummin'.

OEL has been looking very very good in what I have seen of him this season, so that good. Kind of hoping for a tough game in the Yotes end, their D is pretty strong, we really need to win the battles on the boards.

Finally, I think PHX wins and hope I am wrong.

You know....for 2 periods last game I was starting to feel growing optimism that they might turn the season around and become a legit contender by the time the playoffs arrive. I probably shouldn't completely throw that out after the 3rd period collapse, but its hard to feel much optimism.

I fear that Allen is coming into a pressure situation this time, different than his last call-up, and that it may be too much for a young rookie. But heck, maybe he can go on an incredible tear and win the Calder and pilot the Blues deep into the post-season. It really sounds like a pipe dream, though.

That's my hope. Hopefully Cole is willing to use his body quite a bit without being out of position, would allow Shattenkirk to continue being excellent.

How will he win the Calder when Tarasenko returns and scored 8 consecutive hat-tricks?

Allen gives up 3 goals in the first period. Gets yanked for Halak, who gives up 4 goals in the second. Gets yanked for Elliot who gives up 6 goals on 10 shots in the 3rd.

Shattenkirk hits Chris Stewart over the middle with less than :30 on the clock. Oshie puts up the extra point....It's Good! 14-13 Blues
