Adam Cracknell

I'm determined to reverse the negativity on the board so I want to talk about one of the young guys who has played well since he came up this season.

Adam Cracknell is constantly around the puck and he should stay up on the roster, even when we get healthy.

Thoughts on Mr. Cracknell?

I like his attitude and work ethic. It's a shame he's not a bit more talented and faster. He seems to understand the game and his role.

He's 27, not really a young guy lol. But I do agree that he's played well when he's been given a chance.

Cracknell has excellent work ethic and gets the most out of his limited skills, knows his role role are, that's a good thing to have. I've like him as a depth player on the 4th line once injuries happen, and they always do. I'm happy Cracknell is getting a oppertunity to play for the Blues albeit under difficult circumstances.

I've generally been pleased with his play every time he's seen NHL time. Not sure if he's fleet-of-foot enough to earn a top 12 gig out of camp given the competition, but he's quality depth to have around.

Cracknell/Porter-Sobotka-Reaves is what I would have pencilled in for our fourth line next year, or hopefully when we get healthy this year. When I watched Peoria earlier in the season, he didn't really impress, but almost every game he has played for the Blue over the past few years he has done a very solid job.

He has good instincts, not afraid to put the puck on the net.

I have always been a fan of him. Wish he'd stick it out with the big club. i'm also starting to jump on the porter bandwagon a little. I was against him being up here at the beginning of the season, but i've been impressed with what he brings as well. I've also missed our last game and most of our game before that so i'm not sure how he played in those, but i'm just saying he's looked like he belongs when i've watched him.

That's what my thinking is as well. Sobotka can be called up to a 3rd line role if needed, and bring up McRae or something silly like that if absolutely necessary.
