Patrick Kane to Buffalo

Figured Id start it....

step 1: Buffalo trades Pominville ot a team for a young and cheaper starting goalie along with Picks.

step 2: they trade Miller to Chicago for picks and prospects.

step 3: after the season they send those prospects/picks back to chicago for Kane.

Let the flame war begin....

Teams with 20+ game winning streaks don't trade the kingpins of the roster. This is beyond stupid.

Last year it was a big time rumor.

As I said the trade of Kane from Chicago wouldnt happen the summer.

Chicago would have some salary issues.

Buffaslow would have to give up their entire first line + the annual parking revenue for 2013 just to talk to Patrick Kane!

They have those 3 shootout losses, unacceptable, time to blow it up and start from scratch.

Last year it was a fake rumor created by the media. Kane has never come even close to leaving Chicago.

Chicago doesn't have salary issues. There are many guys who would go before Kane to get under the lowered cap for next season.

Plus Kane for Miller is pathetic. You can keep him.

step 1: Not Buffalo fan but if that is what they want to do ok

step 2: Miller is overated and Hawks dont need him

step 3: So esseintially the Hawks give up Kane for Miller ,,, How on earth does that make sense to you?

If Hawks moved Kane the deal would be centered around Hodgson + Foligno + Grigorenko + 1st ,,, At minimum this is what Hawks would be asking for

Step 1.

Trade Miller to Edmonton for Taylor hall plus 1st rounder.

Trade Taylor hall to Chicago for Kane plus a 2nd rounder

Trade Pominville to whomever for 2 first rounders.

Trade Steve Ott for a 1st and 2nd.

Take all those picks and trade them to Pittsburg for Malkin and Matt Cooke

Trade Cooke and a 3rd to Ottawa for Karlsson (after he recovers of course)

Trade 'snack sized' Nathan Gerbe for Ben Bishop.

There isn't a realistic trade that Buffalo could offer to pry Kane from Chicago.

Why would Hawks want either?

Offer would see young cheap talent go Chicago's way (Hodgson/Foligno/Grigorenko)

I don't understand the rationale for doing such a thing from a Chicago standpoint. The Hawks are flying and Kane is in the discussion for the MVP as it stands now. No sense breaking it up by trading him.

I have no idea why Chicago would want Miller. Emery and Crawford are doing the job. Miller would screw it up.

This thread reminds me of all the 'Patrick Kane Overrated' threads last year Kane isn't going anywhere.

Yeah I hope this is true, though the Hawks might have issues with him and Toews going UFA in the same year. 2 more years until we have to worry about that, though.

Yeah a lot of teams trade their top player after just finishing what is looking to be one of the best seasons of all time.

I think the only reason the OP thinks Kane should be traded to Buffalo is because Buffalo is Kane's hometown. What's next? Sidney Crosby should be traded to the Halifax Mooseheads?

No offense to any Chicago fan but Patrick Kane can't play in Buffalo BECAUSE it is his hometown.

He is a top line talent BUT in my opinion, would be a disaster in Buffalo.

No thanks.
