Adam Hall is on waivers, if he get's to us, I wonder if we put in a claim.

He's listed as a RW, but he has taken 165 draws and is at 56.4%. Would add some size to our lineup as well at 6'-3".

Mayers 2.0. Don't really need him.

That's a smart move by Phoenix, sign him young and in 3 years him making 5.5 is one of the best bargains in the NHL.

Best one of those ever was by Tampa Bay Rays who signed Longoria to a long term deal in Triple-A guy is one of the best players in the MLB and makes 4.5 mill a year.

Great move by Phoenix. They've got to be thrilled with that contract.

Definitely good signing, though can't help but wonder if any of those years are going to be even in Phoenix.

agreed, but I really dont see him as that big of an upgrade to be honest. plus you would have to send someone down to sign him, and I really want to see Jimmy Hayes get a chance with this team.

I dont think the Hawks need any waiver wire players this year, save the bodies and room for making a move at the deadline to land that #2 center to put us over the top.

Don't hold your breath for that to happen. I really don't like our 4th line as it is. I wouldn't mind getting a tough player who is decent at the dot, and if he can PK even better. Hall is all of that but no matter, Carolina claimed him.

Troy Brouwer was awful today

He gave the Bruins there 1st goal

Caps lose 4-1 to Bruins and continue to watch there playoff hopes fade

Bobrovsky is carrying the Jackets on his back

2 pts out of playoff spot ,, If Jackets make playoffs Bob could get some MVP votes

Well the 1st goal was laugher by Brouwer (Usual Brouwer just awful player)

And the fact the Caps are doing what I said they would do (Creep into playoff race then stumble right out) is amusing

How in the world do you give up 39 shots to the Coyotes?

You like them? Looked like a plumb with two barber poles stuck on them for sleeves.

The stick-in-rink jerseys or the Millionaires ones?

I love the Millionaires jerseys. And they're fitting, too, that Luongo was playing.
