O'reilly is much better than Staz. But I guess he was picked earlier in the draft so that must be why...

It's so cool... Sacco does one thing right in putting Jones on 4th line, then goes and puts McLeod on the second line, scratches Barrie, continues to run 5 frwd on the PP, starts our 3rd line, gives Hunwick the most minutes on the team, doesn't try Landeskog with O'Money.

Oh and scratches Barrie...

What's a defenseman but an out of position forward?

Guys, O'Reilly is looking amazing out there right now. Just had two takeaways in the one shift right after that PP goal and did it easilly, barely broke a sweat. His hustle keeping the puck in the zone on the PP as well... not saying it's 6.5mill good but this guy we have to keep.

I'm surprised Hunwick risks his pretty face by playing without a visor.

I love Landeskog battling Shaw after that play. Most of the other guys take it up the Shawshank.

Why shouldn't we have 5 forwards on the PP? It's not like we get better with a guy like Hunwick there either. And he isn't exactly nice to have in the own zone if Hawks get the puck either...

I counted 10 turnovers by Hunwick last game yet Sacco benches Barrie for defensive lapses?

WTF is wrong with this guy?

they are trying to win in spite of their coach
last game they were fueled by wanting to end the streak ... this game they have confidence they can go toe to toe with em

that said we'll probably get slaughtered

Im sure glad we traded one of the best young D-men in the league, a good young beast of a power forward for a Dman who cant even play on the PP. Nice work Sherman.

Trade him to CGY for a first and a third. No worries about him staying in the west, cuz CGY will most likely place him on waivers.

Just realized, we're only 6 pts out of a playoff spot. Yet we're also one point above the basement. This is a pretty tight year in the standings.

Forgot about how he let Anderson go. Andy would have had that first save too.

6 points might as well be 10 at this point though...
