Fewest points in the league in the most games played. In the softest division the NHL has seen in a long while. A season where we disproportionately play against our divisional rivals. A worse version of the garbage team we had last year.
Bettman spare us and let us score some goals on Rick DiPietro in the AHL.
Would relegation really be a bad thing in this league?
I think he means like in the English Premier league, where teams that finish near the bottom of the standings get relegated to the crappier league for the next season. So if the season ended right now the Panthers would basically be an AHL team and only play AHL teams.
It would never work in America, and I think it's a pretty stupid idea.
