I have the feeling this writer never watched Grebs this season...
Stats are misleading buddy.

From the article:

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "He makes some passes that people can't believe. Great vision, great eyesight. He's got some nuances that he'll definitely have to work on but he's developing." -- Manchester Monarchs (AHL) coach Bruce Boudreau, describing Grebeshkov's game.

He's still good for a couple of WTF was he thinking on that pass from me every night..

I agree with Boudreau that he's got some nuances that he definitely needs to work on like his defensive play, his concentration as the game wears on and his physical play in front of his own net...

I would like to see a turnover stat. That is one Grebs would definately be at the top of.

I notice that the article fails to mention who wrote it. I think it may have been Momma Grebeshkov.

You mean, from MY article.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! That quote was ripped from me. He took it directly from one of my articles. I know no one else should have access to that quote except my article because when I talked to Boudreau when he gave me that quote, he and I were the only ones in the room.

Grebs is still AT LEAST a year away from going to the next level. He should be in Manchester all next season. But given the Kings luck with injuries theat may not happen. I do agree that it is all mental with him. he just has not been able to get over that mental hump and totally 100% confident with the puck at the next level. The potental is there and like i have said before I am not ready to write this kid off as a bust. But he clearly needs more work to build up his confidence and his game for the next level.

That's happened to me too. Sorry man, I can relate.

It's dispicable that paid writers can't make a phone call to get a quote, they'd rather lift them from volunteer writers of an internet site.

You know, if it's on the internet and he didn't cite you, it's still plagarism. I'd take it up with the publisher. Each article on HF has a publishing date which is obviously before this guy's article. Nail him for it man, no publisher wants to get hit with copyright infringment and theft.

EDIT: Yup, dated in November of '04. If a student had handed that to me, I would have failed them for plagarism and had them booted from the University I teach at. Go after him man.

The issue has been passed along to the editors.

I think he is/will be. Most think he will be in Manchester all of next year, I think he may split time. I thought he looked pretty at the very beginning of this season when I saw him, and comfortable. I would be surprised to see him in the AHL all of next season

Then why did you go over to kj's place at 10 last night and just leave at 6 this morning? And don't tell me you were being fitted for pads again. That only works twice, you hear!?

Seriously, though, good luck with that plagiarism BS, David. Sorry you have to endure that.

When the NHL resumes regular operations, the Kings are expected to be one of the youngest teams in the league. Along the blueline, expect Grebeshkov to join veterans Mattias Norstrom, Lubomir Visnovsky and Aaron Miller as part of the top-four defenders. His 2004-05 campaign in Manchester should be Grebeshkov's last in the minors, as he's proven to be an all-star defenseman at the AHL level. His next challenge will be to earn a spot on the Kings roster and vie for the Calder trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year--whenever the league gets going again..
What about N.D. and...... S.Q.? and isnt timmy a better "D" then Gerbs?

That's right! Everyone knows that no one parties like an HF Groupie. It's my pleasure adding each and every one to my Stable.

It doesn't matter to me. I just want the website cited. I was a little shocked by it when I saw it though.

As of right now, Gleason is a much better d-man than Grebs. All Grebs needs is more work. He'll be fine, but he needs more experience and ice time.
